Greeted by mosquitoes !

Mosquitoes were waiting for us when we opened the door, we were all bitten ! When inquired, owner told us mosquitoes are rare in Sarlat, guess we were very unlucky. But that really spoiled our stay since we lit mosquito coils & sprayed repellent whenever we're in the house, almost fumigated ourselves. Listing should indicate the 2nd bathroom & third bedroom are in an annex, one has to duck head & leave the main house to get there. We understand we had to bring personal supplies but this is the 1st bnb that we stayed in without dish washing & laundry detergent & garbage bags. Location is good though.

Maison très bien située à 2 mn à pied du centre historique, idéale pour passer un We ou une semaine (comme nous) à Sarlat. Confortable et agréable (terrasse !) et propriétaire réactif ET aimable. A refaire !

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans cette maison pleine de charme où il ne manque rien. Elle a plein de petits recoins sympathiques et se trouve dans un quartier très calme, très bien située à trois minutes à pied du centre et d’un parking gratuit. De plus, la propriétaire est très sympathique. Nous y retournerons très volontiers.

Emplacement idoine

Petite maison de caractère pleine de "rabicoins" située à flan de coteau dans la roche. A 2 pas du centre. La terrasse est très agréable. 3 chambres confortables.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans un hébergement atypique et for bien situé pour profiter de Sarlat sans voiture. L'appartement comportait tous les équipements indiqués et les produits nécessaires. Deux points à traiter: - la porte d'entrée difficile à ouvrir (elle frotte au sol) - Radiateur de la chambre extérieure à refixer

Tres bon sejour dans la maison des roches

Nous avons passé 4 jours avec 3 mamans et 3 ados dans la maison des roches de Sarlat. On se sent très rapidement à l'aise et chez soi dans cette maison typique creusée dans la roche. L'hôte nous a laissé tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Idéalement située, on visite Sarlat sans prendre la voiture !

Nous avons séjourné en famille dans la charmante maison de Sandrine. Elle a été pleine d'attention, lit bébé, ré-hausseur, pot et baignoire pour le petit de 20 mois. A la fois proche du centre ville historique et au calme dans cette petite rue. Séjour magnifique.

Nice house - grumpy owner

The house is very nice; however, it would not be suitable for someone with mobility issues due to the steps and stairs inside the house as well as a narrow staircase. The location is excellent; it is a few minutes walk from the medieval city centre. On the departure day, we met 3 women who asked us for help looking for the house at number 15, and after a while, we realised they were coming to clean the house we were living (number 7). They had the wrong house number. We showed them the property, where the external key box and the internal key box were as well as the cleaning products; they had no idea were things were. Consequently, we left 20 minutes late and I received a quite unpleasant email from the owner due to this slight delay. This was the only downside of the stay. The plus side was the lovely cat who visited every day.

A RECOMMANDER SANS HESITATIONS

Avec des amis, nous avons loué cette maison, et nous avons été très satisfait de l'ensemble. La localisation est parfaite, 5 minutes à pied de l'hyper centre, extraordinaire marché du samedi, restaurants, boutiques, etc..tout est à proximité. Le logement est super, bien équipé, propre, les chambres sont bien et le fait d'avoir une suite parentale, ou autre séparée est idéal. De plus les modalités avant l'arrivée, le guidage, l'accueil etc...est super. Le suivi fait par la propriétaire est vraiment appréciable. Je recommande et nous y retournerons en famille.
