An absolute gem in the heart of Santa Marta! The staff is incredible and the concierge service is next level. You can send a whatsapp message to the front desk and within minutes anything you need is taken care of. I stay here every time I visit Colombia.

This was my second time here and both times I had problems with the room size. This time I was in a basement room which I believe should be stated. I was in probably the worst possible room in the hotel. I complained instantly and luckily the manager had just come in and he made arrangements for me to be moved to a size I had been told in the listing, the following day. The room was about half the size I was expecting. There's definitely some confusion about the rooms in the listing. In essence, I was told it was my fault but there's clearly some misrepresentation when you show room size and you get half. There's also two distinct sections in this hotel. I was in the back this time, the front the first. The front is just brighter and more open. No narrow walkways or dirty walkways with uneven slabs which are a falling hazzard. There's a tiny bit of artificial turf to get to my room and it wasn't cleaned once in 5 days. There's no elevator, so if stairs are an issue, you will likely have a problem here. You cannot avoid stairs. Breakfast was just ok. The ladies doing breakfast were wonderful and pleasant. The menu was ok not great. I had waffles one day and I could have honey or eggs with them, not both. I asked if the waffles came with fruit and yes they did, one maraschino cherry came. The rooms are nice and the hotel is pretty. I received a change after my first day but not without a lot of time spent arguing. A few unsavory people outside the hotel entrance always.

This property was absolutely great. I stayed in one of the suites and the amenities were modern, the room was clean, quality toiletries, good food in the restaurant it was very relaxing and quiet. The hotel is secure and features a 24-hour desk clerk and an entryway with a locked gate. There is always someone who speaks both English and Spanish on the property and I never had a problem. All of the staff are very polite, friendly and helpful. This place is a great place to stay if you want to be close to everything in Santa Marta. The travel time to Rodadero is about 30 minutes by taxi and costs about 18-20k pesos.

The staff were great and the rooms were clean. However there are bed bugs that need to be treated. My legs were covered in bites when I woke up. For a property that is meant to be 4 stars, this should not be happening. Hopefully the hotel fixes the issue.

Receptionist was very helpful in choosing the right room. Hotel is an old colonial style is very beatiful, amazing tree inside. Very clean around. Only breakfast was not that great.

A true Gem 💎

This place is amazing. Very relaxing, clean spacious rooms. 2 cozy pools that more than accommodates. The staff was A+, location A+, breakfast A+. I will stay again. If I had to complain, there is no elevator but the exercise was needed. I love this place, don't hesitate to book and stay here.
