This was out 9th time at dreams. The resort is in some need of major upgrades. Our room has a great view. However we were up on the 6th floor above the kitchen exhaust fans. All we could smell was cooking oil all day. We found the resort is lacking in general maintenance. Cracked tiles, broken fridges, leaking taps, stinky bathrooms etc. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The staff is courteous as always The food has suffered immensely. The quality, flavors and overall selection was lacking. We were at dreams for 4 nights of our 11 in huatulco and got tired of the food real quick. It's tough to say if we will return to dreams huatulco

Location is fabulous, I was disappointed that they don't have better Oaxaca food in the restaurants. DO NOT eat at El Patio restaurant, they have a mosquito infestation. The cleaning staff are fabulous, but the beds sunk in too much, due to over use. Overall a lovely stay.

Yes room was very clean. Even though we requested special pillows they were not very comfortable but we made due. Staff was very polite and courteous. I was very disappointed that the restaurants didn’t serve more Mexican food. We couldn’t find any menu that contained Mexican options. The beach was beautiful and once again staff was great.

Breakfast at buffet was pretty much the same everyday but food was good. Room cleaning was great. I guess it may be a symptom of the time of year but the restaurants rotated being open for dinner and two of them were totally closed.

This place has so much potential and could use a great location manager to make things better. The location and its proximity to the beach are amazing. The warm water and clear water are perfect. There is a lack of attention to the staff and their customer service. The fact that they could not make an old fashion cocktail speaks volumes. You ask the same question to different staff members and get a different answer every time. There were a few exceptions who provided great service. Genaro and Cristina were fantastic in the preferred lounge. Alberto from the preferred beach was also fantastic. Basic training on customer service and training the bar staff how to prepare some drinks would be helpful

The hotel is a scam! All the food was old and they serve left overs. The alcohol drinks they offer, are from containers. I would never stay there. Beach was awful. Overpriced !

The view is amazing but the rooms are dated. The staff at check in was focused on selling you rather than taking care of our needs and at times lacked social awareness. The staff was also not fully informed. Numerous times we got conflicting information on our questions. This property has amazing potential but needs help. Management needs to do a better job running the resort.
