The front desk receptionist that was working 12/11 @ 11pm was not friendly AT ALL. Wouldnt even speak loud enough to be heard, and had to ask him tonrepeat himself several times. He very clearly hates his job, which is terrible because this was a really bad first impression of this hotel chain. Breakfast was good. The little omelets were good with the green chilis. The pancakes were good, a little chewy but good flavor. The potatoes seemed undercooked as they were slightly hard, good if you dipped them in a little syrup. Cinnamon rolls were delicious, kinda fall apart and super sweet but good flavor.

staff professional and friendly especially since google navigate was not very helpful to many persons who were checking in and were sent on a long about confusing route. I ignored the navigate since I have visited Santa Fe and could find the Holiday Inn. The Holiday is hidden behind a mattress store. The night auditor did a wonderful job of calming frustrated travelers.

Antero was very kind re-assigning us another room on the 3rd floor due to the one on the 1st floor was too noisy. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. He recommended some restaurants and places to go and we really appreciate that. My only complaints are the jets of the Jacuzzi were out of service and the breakfast didn't have milk, chocolate milk or variety of juices, only water, coffee and pomegranate and mango juice but some of us would prefer milk ir chocolate milk, also no cream cheese and the lady didn't refill what was needed.I guess next time will be going somewhere else.

We arrived with a reservation for a accessible room, which we needed for a family member who had major back surgery earlier this year. When we arrived to check in the desk clerk told us they did not have any accessible rooms, as that entire floor was having remodeling done, and that an accessible room might be available the following day, if the work got finished by then, or a couple of days later. Gratefully they refunded our prepayment, but, they should have some mechanism to advise travelers in advance that a room type that is reserved will not be available. We switched to a Hampton, and it worked out, but created a lot of phone calls and online checking to get the replacement hotel, and get Holiday Inn to refund us. Frustrating and we wasted an hour and a half.

We arrived a couple of hours early than expected and were allowed to check in after a brief wait. Everyone was very courteous, friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, inviting and quiet. The buffet breakfast was more than what we expected and had a variety of options. Fresh brewed coffee was available at all times. We will return to this hotel when we travel to Santa Fe again.
