A Decent Stay

I've stayed at this hotel before and it seems it is not being kept up. There was a large stain on the carpet and the toilet seat was misaligned. The sheets and towels were rather thin. I only stayed one night, so it was okay, but I wouldn't want to spend several days there. The breakfast was very good.

This is our 2nd stay at this location. Rooms are large, clean and microwaves, refrigerator and coffee machines are standard which is appreciated! They include a breakfast. Best part is you can bring your furry friends. The doggy potty area lacks upkeep. The grass was dry, poop all over just unkept.

The hotel was fine for the price. Standard accomodation. It offered breakfast, but it had sign saying to wait to be seated. I moved on, seemed out of place for the property. I just wanted something quick and a little coffee. Just down the street I noticed a fair number of homeless hanging around. Parking is outside. A little concerned about leaving things in the car or random damage.

I stayed at The Oaks Hotel in Paso Robles from August 29 to September 1, 2025, and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The staff were genuinely warm, welcoming, and attentive, making check-in and every interaction throughout my stay easy and pleasant. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with all the little touches that made it feel like home. I especially appreciated how quiet and relaxing the environment was—perfect after exploring Paso Robles wine country. Breakfast each morning was fresh, well prepared, and offered a great variety to start the day. The location was also ideal—close to downtown Paso Robles, wineries, and local attractions, yet still tucked away enough to feel peaceful. Overall, The Oaks Hotel is a wonderful place to stay if you’re visiting Paso Robles. With friendly service, excellent amenities, and a convenient location, it’s easy to recommend and I look forward to returning on my next trip.
