The grounds of the hotel were very nice. This was actually our second time here. We stayed again because of the location. The staff at the lounge upstairs was amazing. The steakhouse restaurant served breakfast and the breakfast was good and the service was also good. However for us customer service is extremely important especially when the first impression is who you talk to when you first get to the hotel. The experience with the front desk was not great. My husband called to see if he could pay to have either a bottle of wine, a card, anything put in the room since it was my birthday. The lady that answered was rude she told him they couldn’t do anything since he didn’t call at least 2 days before. He asked to speak to a manager and they said someone would call him back. No one called back. My husband called again and they put him on hold for almost 15 min. So he hung up and gave up. I had also called myself 2 days before and even asked when we checked in if our complimentary wine from Expedia was in the room. Both times they said yes and when we went into the room it was not there. When we are spending the time and money to come there, service like this isn’t ok. There are many options in Paso for hotels and unfortunately because of this we will stay somewhere else next time. We go to Paso twice a year.
