Good for a short stay and the right price

We stayed here for two nights. The property is older, but very clean. It is in a fairly loud location, with neighbors that have barking dogs. If you sleep with ear plugs, you will be fine. This property is good for a short stay, and for the price. It is a short drive to downtown Paso Robles for dinner/wine tasting, etc. However, it is not really a great location if you are planning on parking and walking. Overall, we would stay here again for only 1-2 nights.

Big rooms and nice furniture. However, the mattress was worn out and didn't have a good cover. The maids are pretty loud starting at 8am if you're room is near the lobby. The location is convenient, walkable to many stores and restaurants. We were not expecting so many homeless though.

I didn’t like the location of my room on the property. I was the furthest distance from the pool, which I would only wanted to use for the hot tub, but it would’ve been an outside walk quite a distance to get to it with a swimsuit on. It’s kind of silly to drive to it. The morning coffee was not good coffee, and the muffins were very standard and those all the choices that there were. Location: Starbucks was very close.. within an easy walk, and the coffee there was nice.. unlike some Starbucks. A very nice Italian restaurant was across the street which I would’ve visited. Had I know it was there the night before. I left the room for a few hours in the morning before checkout time when I , the room had been cleaned, even though we were still well within our time for checkout, and I had not checked out at the desk. Some personal items that I have left behind were in the office rather than in the room, and I was really surprised that they didn’t respect my agreement and the time I was allowed to have the hotel. They seem to think I was very unreasonable. Maybe it was unreasonable, but it just didn’t suit their desire to clean the room early and it may be assumption I was gone, even though I left the property behind in the room. So I wasn’t as pleased as I’ve been in the past.

Love the place but not the other guests.

Booked a King size room was given a Queen. Lots of construction workers staying there and were pretty noisy. And they banged on our door twice for no reason.

Very comfortable !

We got a room with 2 queen-size beds. The room offerd different service areas that gives comfort and independence to move around. There's is a full bathroom and another sink outside where other person can easily get ready for the day, this includes a vanity section with magnifier mirror and a good size counter. Also an small refrigerator and a microwave along with a full closet with an iron and table. Linen and carpet were clean.

The property is conveniently located off 46 and 101 so the area is very busy. The two men working check-in were like a comedy duo answering our questions about the area. The interior of the room we had was nice and clean and very thoughtfully laid out with plenty of counter space for the bathroom. Beds were very comfortable. Nice to have real creamer by the coffee maker instead of the powdered stuff. However, the chairs and carpet were on the worn side. A previous guest had also spilled coffee on the rug and we discovered this while walking around in our socks. Other than the smell of coffee by the nightstand, it would have been difficult for housekeeping to notice this while wearing shoes. The one big drawback was the thin construction of the walls and floors and how easily noise traveled. The Saturday night crowd was boisterous, and the family above us had a tickle fight at 6:30 on Sunday morning. Fortunately, Sunday night and Monday morning were quieter as there were far fewer guests. In general, it was a good stay and we would come back if we are in the area again.

Large comfortable room. Very clean. While the room shows some wear and tear it was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Delicious scones available in the lobby for breakfast.
