Villa Shambhala is located on the first hill of San Bartolomeo al Mare in a dominant position on the gulf, with sea and mountain views. The Gulf and the Villa are surrounded by maritime pines, in Levante rises the ancient medieval village of Cervo, destination of musicians, poets and painters.
In San Bartolomeo al Mare there is the free beach (uniqueness of the area) and the new promenade along the sea, while in the nearby Diano Marina there are sandy beaches and shops for shopping.

Beautiful house with absolutely great view

Wonderful place.

We loved this place very much which is at excellent location. Close to the sea so the air was always fresh. Great location to explore the Ligurian coast and the Cote d'Azur in France. Elena and Francesco were helpful and their welcome was very warm. We recommend the house, we could come back later also.

francesco et elena était tres sympa, ils nous on saluer , expliquer tous ce qu’ils y avait a savoir sur la maison et acceuilli en préparant un apero. Le reste de la semaine ils étaient tres discret mais ce sont des personnes formidables. la maison était tres propre. je recommande cette location a 100% avec une tres bonne confiance des hôtes

Traumhafte Ferien in wunderschöner Umgebung mit atemberaubendem Blick

Elena und Francesco sind sehr warmherzige und extrem hilfsbereite und bemühte Vermieter. Die Wohnung und der Garten sind wunderschön; und der Blick (auf das Meer, auf die Berge und auf Crevo) ist atemberaubend. Alles ist super gepflegt und sehr sauber. Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt.

Talmente bello che il mare era un optional.

Che dire. Prima di tutto non e' una casa vacanza. E' una casa. Come quella di un amico che deve andar via per qualche giorno e te la lascia. Quindi: arredata con gusto, quadri, libri, cucina fornita, lettini e sedie per esterni. Ora e' stata messa una struttura fissa con tendaggi per mangiare fuori, meglio del gazebo delle foto Le due enormi finestre che danno su Cervo, in fotografia non rendono l'idea . Il tavolo per mangiare dentro con sedie comodissime. Tutto trasuda comfort ed elenganza. Siamo stati in decine di case vacanze,anche piu' costose e localita' piu' rinomate,ma spesso erano fredde e anonime. Ti inviatavano a uscire.Eravamo venuti per 5 giorni di mare..e chi l'ha visto ? Appena arrivati, pure in ritardo per lavori autostradali, Francesco e la moglie ci hanno accolti con uno spuntino che per noi e' stato un pranzo, visto che erano le 14,00. L'ultimo giorno ci hanno concesso un extra e siamo partiti dopo pranzo con un ultima vista sulle colline d'interno. Fatta la spesa al paese, non abbiamo piu' avuto voglia di scendere. Si e' soli in cima a questa collina con vista magnifica. Di giorno al sole o sotto le piante all'ombra. Di sera un bel venticello che ti invitava a stare dentro e a goderti lo spettacolo durante e dopo la cena. La piscina era poi sempre utilizzata. Sembra piccola, ma una volta dentro ed azionata, il paesaggio fa il resto. Francesco ci ha spiegato tutto e poi non si e' fatto piu' vedere. Discreti, ma bello sapere che in mezzo al nulla, c'era qualcun altro nei paraggi. Due note tecniche. Sul lato sud ovest della proprieta' corre una pista ciclopedonale. Non spaventatevi se ognitanto qualcuno passa, Ma soprattutto attenzione ad uscire dal cancello perche' si passa da quella parte. Quindi serve qualcuno che controlli che non ci siano ciclisti spericolati in zona. Arrivando dall'autostrada uscita San Bartolomeo, impostate l'indirizzo, ma arrivati al ponte, non seguite la via piu' breve che vi verra' proposta. Passate sotto il ponte in direzione del mare, superate una piccola ritonda e dopo sulla sinistra imboccate via Battisti. Arriverete con 200 metri in piu', ma molto piu' agevolmente e velocemente. Se proprio si vuole trovare un neo in questo paradiso, la casa è sulla cima di una collina e l'autostrada scorre più in basso nella valle, per cui se ne vedono un paio di tronconi a distanza tra le colline e col vento può arrivare un rumore di sottofondo. Casa veramente consigliata.

Villa with great view

We were heartily greeted and perfectly instructed by the owners. The villa was perfectly cleaned and everything was according specification and pictures (the terrace has now a very robust awning system instead of a pavilion). The garden is well maintained. You have fantastic view from inside the house and terrace (highway is also partial visible). Depending on wind direction, the highway is slidely audible at the terrace. All windows have fly screens. We used the kitchen very regular therefore the loose tap (only two-hand usage) and dissolved kitchen carpet runner leads to hindered conditions. Villa Shambhala could be fully recommended from our side.

Vacanza rilassante tra mare e uliveti.

La villa corrisponde in pieno a quanto indicato nell’annuncio: immersa nel verde, possiede un curato giardino privato e una vista mare impareggiabile. Il suo interno è spazioso e luminoso. Elena e Francesco sono stati attenti alle nostre esigenze e si sono dimostrati gentili e disponibili anche con i nostri cani.

Ein Urlaub für die Sinne

Wir - Eltern mit Kind - waren für sechs Tage dort und haben es sehr genossen. Der Blick von dem Hügel auf dem das Haus steht ist wunderschön! Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit vielen Bildern und Skulpturen gespickt an denen das Auge verweilen kann. Regenwalddusche und Jacuzzi waren ein angenehmes i-Tüpfelchen, um sich an diesem Ort rundum wohl zu fühlen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett. Sie wohnen ein Stockwerk weiter unten und man kann sie bei Bedarf jederzeit um Hilfe bitten. Man wird ansonsten aber komplett in Ruhe gelassen. Wir fanden's toll dort und können es wärmstens weiter empfehlen.

they know what they are doing!

i cant imagine a more complicated group for a host than we were this time. when we arrived at the villa, everything was already perfectly prepared and we were welcomed by heart. they managed every situation so well. if we were confusing, they were smpathetic and made fun of it. if we had a problem, they immediately solved it. if we had a question, we could always call them and got an answer. i will never forget the wonderful mornings when we ate breakfast on the terasse and watched over to village and sea. as an artist, i would wonder what others think about the pieces of art that hang around the villa. thanks a lot!

Tolles Haus, bezaubernder Ausblick und sehr freundliche Vermieter

Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt in San Bartolomeo. Wir wurden sehr freundlich von den herzlichen und zuvorkommenden Vermietern begrüßt. Das Haus ist sehr modern und schick mit einem zauberhaften Blick auf das Meer und die Stadt Cerbo. Die Lage ist ebenfalls toll, man ist schnell am Strand. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Ein toller Urlaub in eine super schönen Unterkunft!

Wir haben im Mai eine Woche mit unseren 1 und 5 Jahre alten Kindern in der Villa Bartolomeo verbracht. Die Lage und Aussicht auf die Gegend inkl. Meer sind einfach fantastisch. Beim Frühstück auf der Terrasse kommt die Erholung von ganz alleine. Das Haus war sehr sauber. Besonderes hervorzuheben ist die Gastfreundschaft der Eigentümer Elena und Francesco, die sich um alles gekümmert haben, was uns wichtig war. Wir kommen gern wieder!
