Ideally situated, the villa is a short walk from the sand dunes, the protected lagoon and the long beautiful Maspalomas beach which stretches along the coast from the nearby Faro lighthouse as well as the cafes and shops of Melonares. It is a stunning private upmarket hacienda style villa a 55" smart TV (with full range of English, German, Spanish TV channels, Netflix, Amazon Prime etc etc.,) and features an expansive garden (perfect for sunbathing) including its own private solar panel heated swimming pool with jacuzzi feature, landscaped with bougainvillea, flowers and shrubs.. It is nevertheless quiet and secluded yet all the modern facilities (restaurants, supermarkets, taxis etc) may be found less than a 5 minute walk. The villa is a 3/4 minute drive from the busy nightlife of the Yumbo, Cita and Kasbah centres in Playa del Ingles as well as close to all the main holiday attractions; Holiday World Fairground, Aqualand, Sioux City, Perla Canaria, Go Karting, Jeep Safaris and Camel tours. The main Maspalomas golf course is a 2 minute stroll.

Nice villa Great location

The villa was ideally located, with a local supermarket about 5 minutes walk away, that stocked everything you'd need, and also within walking distance to the Yumbo Centre and the Beach both were approximately 25 minutes walk away. The villa itself was clean and very well equipped, and the outdoor space with the heated pool was very private and a great area to relax. The communication with Colin was excellent and the booking in process with Beverly was very smooth. We all loved the villa and hope to book again soon.

Nice villa with great community pool

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Communication was great with an easy check in process via the local agent. The villa is showing signs of age with some plugs damaged or not working and a few patches of mould in the ensuite. The Aircon in the bedrooms was excellent and well needed in a very hot August. The kitchen was well equipped but hot to cook in. Outside area was nice but the pool is salty as doesn't use chlorine. The community pool is 30 seconds walk and was large and empty. The kids loved it. 30 min walk to the promenade of Mespalomas where there are lots of nice restaurants. We got several taxis which were really easy to use and only 5-7 euro. Local area was generally quiet although you could hear the local resort discos in the evening but it was silent from 10:30ish. Shop is 5 mins walk. We did struggle with insects inside the villa but it was very hot when we stayed. We used a can of insect killer spray to try and kill them each night. I imagine this is common in this area.

Good time had by all

We have just come back from a 9 night stay, villa was lovely, it’s was mega hot so the air conditioning was a must. Some of the plates, bowels etc were dirty when we got them out to use but that’s nothing to do with the cleanliness of the villa, that’s the people before us! The little pool in the front garden was lovely but we also had access to a bigger one out the back which is used by other villas but hardly anyone else used it, the kids thought it was great. Beach is about a 20 min walk, bit longer for us as it was so hot. There are plenty of buses that we used regularly to explore the island and these were fab and a good price and the stop by the villa is about a 2 min walk so it was perfect. Beverly collected us from the airport was lovely and even stopped at the supermarket on route so we could get some supplies for that evening. We used the local HiperDino supermarket which catered for all our needs. If there was one thing that could be improved it would just be a local map showing where to go for everything, we founds things quite easily but a local map would of helped. Fab time had by all.

Great location and well positioned for all that Gran Canaria has to offer. The property is as advertised, well equipped and it was fantastic having the private pool! Very relaxing stay

My wife and I stayed with 3 children aged 11,12 and 13. We all had a great, relaxing time at the villa. We found it all to be fully equipped with everything we needed. My wife particularly liked the well stocked library and made use of borrowing a couple of good reads to enjoy by the pool. Kids loved the pool, it wasn't huge but perfectly adequate for us and held the heat well, which was a nice added bonus. There were a few things that could probably do with some updating and some bits were a little worn and overused. However in the main this dod not interrupt our stay and the good points to the villa by far out weighed any negative ones, it is really well stocked with everything we needed.. The neighbourhood was generally very quiet. There isn't a huge amount locally, there is a reasonably priced supermarket however and a restaurant. For a bit of entertainment there is a place called holiday world 10 minutes walk. There is also a large supermarket 25 minutes walk away, which was a pleasurable walk we done a few times to stock up. We also walked to play del ingles in 45 minutes. Again a pleasurable walk but if you didn't want to walk either of them, taxis are quite cheap. Beverley was brilliant, arranging our pick up and drop off very informative and quick to respond to any queries we had. Overall a very enjoyable stay, if we went back to gran canaria we would have no hesitation in staying at this villa again.

Pleasant & Relaxing Stay

We all enjoyed our week at Villa Paraiso. Excellently equipped villa, especially the kitchen, if you like cooking. It was great to have 2 bathrooms too & we loved the outside covered area, where we spent most of our time outside. The solar heated pool isn't huge but was big enough for us, 3 adults. The villa is in a quiet location, close to a supermarket which was very useful. We hired a car & ventured into Playa del Ingles, 5 mins away, most evenings where there's a good selection of restaurants. I'd recommend Lola & Wapa Tapa but do book in advance as they're very popular. We haven't been to Maspalomas for 20 years, so it was nice to get reacquainted with the resort. I would definitely recommend staying at Villa Paraiso as a base to explore the area.

Fantastic villa with pool

This villa has everything for a prefect stay, I'd say it was over stocked with wonderful books and dad's as well as a well stocked kitchen. The neighbourhood was quiet and there are a couple of food shops and restaurants close by. The villa pool has a jacuzzi option and the main pool can be reached through the back door of the property. Found the water scalding hot in the shower room, might need to run it for a while to get the right temperature. But a real gem of a place and wished we'd booked it for longer.

Everything we could have ever asked for. Colin and Bev were so helpful and accommodating which made it feel like a home away from home. The villa has everything you could want, both pools were clean and so handy to have and we used them everyday. The whole Villa was spotless. It’s in a great location, you can walk to the beach and the shops. We had a great holiday, thank you!

Tranquil villa with great outdoor social space

We have just spent 10 nights in the villa and had a wonderful time. Inside is a little tired in places, but that didn’t bother us as it had a well-equipped kitchen and felt really homely. The outdoor seating area is fab for relaxing and socialising with the added bonus of the pool to take a dip in whenever you wanted. We also used the communal pool which was very quiet so we often had it to ourselves. The area is generally quiet and peaceful which is just what we were looking for. We had a car and would recommend having one so you can get around easily. Overall a great place to stay and we would definitely recommend it..

A wonderful week in Maspalomas

From the moment we were met at the airport by the wonderful Beverley, we felt completely looked after. The villa was great - we had everything we could wish for, from a lovely pool and outdoor eating area to an amazing library of books and films to keep us entertained. The beach was a 20 minute walk, but well worth it, with some great restaurants, and the supermarket was less than 10 minutes' walk away for when we were eating in. A very comfortable and enjoyable week.

Excellent two week break at Paraiso Golf

Excellent communication from Colin during the booking experience and from Bev during our stay. Overall the villa was great. Pool although a little small is warm and the jacuzzi feature is fab. And is complemented by the communal pool which is rarely used by others! Great modern kitchen with all appliances and crockery that you will need. We had some lovely lunches and meals out on the veranda in the sunshine surrounded by a lush garden. We even picked some limes from the tree for our evening gin! And were given some mango from the neighbour. The only negatives were that there was no WiFi available until day 8 of our 14 day holiday - fine for the adults but not so for our 11 year old. It would have been good to have been told in advance of this since we understood that it’s been an issue for months. However when it was fitted it was super fast and great. The other negative and not a fault was the lack of BBQ due to the wild fires. This is something we of course love on holiday and missed it - again it would have been nice to be told before we arrived but understand (even though the neighbours next door had regular bbq’s!). All in all a wonderful stay in a very well located villa. Thanks Colin and Bev. Hopefully see you again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Paraiso Golf, lovely villa inside and out

A very relaxing, peaceful week spent at Paraiso Golf. Beverley was extremely helpful throughout the whole process of booking, transfers and the one minor issue with the oven, which was remedied on the day of the issue. The villa itself was perfect for our group of six. The only minor disappointment was the lack of the internet throughout our stay, but would definitely recommend to family and friends. Having a golf course on the door step was a perfect addition to our stay for an avid golfer!!

My family of 5 enjoyed our stay, the villa had everything we needed and was ideally located near restaurants, shops and the beach. The only reason not a 5 star is the pool never got above 65 degrees so we did not use it. The pool is solar powered and we had great weather so was expecting it to be warmer. Beverly was very friendly and knowledgeable and even adjusted her schedule to greet us, after I got myself lost locating the villa ( directions provided were spot on) my poor sense of direction caused the delay:) .

Wonderful Gran Canaria

Myself and four friends had an enjoyable week staying at the Villa. The location was good for us as it was a quite area but situated in equal distance from Playa del Ingles and Maspalomas. We walked if going to the beach (early to beat the heat) and get a cab back, not expensive and never more than 4.5 euro's. The facilities at the villa were fine for us, we rarely cooked but it was wonderful having breakfast or an evening drink on the veranda. The pool is small but there is a larger shared pool too if needed. I would stay here again for sure with the right group of people. Thumbs up from me.

very clean well maintained home away from home villa

There's everything you need at the villa in perfect working order. A cooker , Hob, microwave, washing machine, air con, TV, sun beds, swimming pool... plenty of cups, plates bowls, glasses for your needs, with a large fridge freezer, unlike many other villas. Compared to all the other villas ive stayed in, in Maspalomas this was by far the cleanest and most well presented with all the facilities advertised there and working. It is a very good size for 6 people, and we were more than comfortable there. The pool is lovely, just the right temperature and well maintained by a very thorough pool guy 2 days a week. He takes his time to ensure he's cleaned both the pool and the gardens on every visit and is really polite. We were given a warm greeting to the villa despite a very late night arrival, and she was available for assistance throughout the duration of our stay. I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone wanting a 4-6 person villa in central Maspalomas, excellent value for money. Thank you to the host.

The villa was very nicely presented, in a quiet location, but near all the usual amenities

We stayed at Villa Paraiso for a week and had a very relaxing break. Bev picked us up from the airport and dropped us back at the end of the week, which meant we had no stresses trying to find the place. She also explained the villa procedures to us, which are also all written down clearly in the information pack in the lounge. The pool was great to cool off in, and we all had great fun playing volleyball with the inflatable net and ball - a great idea. It was also nice to have a bigger, communal pool to swim in, which was also very quiet. We also liked the pretty garden and the lemon and orange trees made it feel very exotic to us! We ate out a bit - it's a nice 15 - 20 minute walk to the restaurants by the beach, and we went to the nearby El Nublo restaurant, which was recommended by previous guests. This was well worth it, as the staff were very friendly and attentive and gave us numerous freebies, such as a free jug of sangria! We had a day trip to the mountains, which was organised by Bev and Santi, our (fortunately!) very experienced driver. This was lovely, as it felt like being shown around by two friends, and we had a lot of fun. Bev even stopped at a shopping centre for us on the way back, so we could pick up some pressies for people back home. Altogether our stay was very relaxing, the villa was well supplied with kitchen utensils and facilities, and we would easily return again.

Did the job for October sun

The villa is in the middle of a strange place and walk five minutes up the road to the local supermarket and you will see the infrastructure is beginning to crumble. The mini supermarket opposite stocks a small range of things but don't go in there with kids as the adult section has a full range! I had forgotten about the 400 euros needed to be provided to the lady who looks after the villa upon arrival as this was not mentioned again after I had booked over six months before. This didn't start the holiday well. Maspolomas seafront has some nice restaurants which is about 20mins on foot and the tapas place through the alley opposite the villa was also good. The villa could have been a little cleaner and charging for the use or not of the air conditioning seems ridiculous and most of the charges should just be added to the hire costs when first booking. I can only speculate why this is not done! The water park was great and I would recommend this for families
