Warm greeting but stsyed an extra. This hotel has historical footprints, it was once a jail. Oh! We had to stay, however, no bars on the windows. Large clean rooms, limited parking but parking available few steps away. Easy access to every part of downtown and the riverwalk. Will use sgain.

I liked the place where the hotel is located near the center, what I didn't like is the parking lot, every time you get in and out of the car you have to ask for a card to enter the parking lot. And it's an extra charge for parking, it's not much but it's uncomfortable to walk around the office every now and then for the card.

Our stay was ok. The room was nice and clean but it had a musky odor the ac was right over one of the beds which made it really cold to sleep on that side. Breakfast was delish. Our stay was pleasant… but if I would have known the history I would not of stayed there. It use to be a county jail..

I booked a one bed but walked in to 2 instead. Was too tired to change. AC was odd as it has a unit on the wall that is very loud when it goes on. Not enough lights in the room. Overall it was ok.

Breakfast was good both days. Rooms generally cold and clean. Were small spotting stains on walls in bathroom by sink and hairs of unknown origins in corners by the sink. Iron and hair dryer worked. Appreciated the toothpaste packets and disposable razor. hotel is pretty close to most attractions and not a bad walk. Mostly secluded off busy street and appreciated there always seemed to be a cop parked out front. The pool was clean and not busy. A little cool but we did go later afternoon evening when sun was down. Room was a good size with high ceilings and hall was quiet. We were very far from elevator and could see our car by the elevator window. parking wasn’t far. Not clear instructions on where to park and load/unload when we first got there. Overall a good stay. Would come to this hotel again.
