Salzburg Hotels with a Balcony

This hotel’s biggest strength is its location. It’s about a 0.4-mile walk to the Hofburg Palace and even closer to the Museum of Art, making it an excellent base for exploring Vienna on foot. The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and the hotel was clean throughout our stay. Our only issue was the lack of air conditioning. If you’re visiting in the winter, this won’t be a concern, as the rooms are well heated. However, if you’re traveling during the summer—especially during a heat wave like we experienced with temperatures in the high 80s to low 90s (°F)—the rooms can become quite warm. To their credit, the staff provided us with an extra fan, which made sleeping at night comfortable. The heat was most noticeable during the afternoon if we returned to the room for a break before heading back out. Overall, this is a clean, well-managed hotel in a fantastic location. If you’re visiting outside of the hottest months, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
