We enjoyed our stay at this place overall - it was a great experience. The only downside was that the floors looked like they could have used a bit more sweeping and mopping, and there were crumbs on the kitchen bar stools that made it seem like they hadn’t been fully cleaned. Other than that, everything was great and we had a wonderful time. Giving four stars for cleanliness as the issue was minor - and it didn’t really impact our stay, and the rest of the property was clean.

Such a cute house. Definitely has quirks as an older home, and if privacy between bedrooms is important, it may not be the best choice. But it was perfect for our family of 5 for a weekend.

Salisbury Native Returning for 80th Birthday

A small group of family and friends joined together to celebrate the 80th birthday of a woman born and raised in Salisbury. She was so thrilled; especially to be in a historic home. It was perfect all around!

The house was interesting and the owner has done a lot to upgrade. I wonder how old the house is and if there is a history to it. The interior was sparkly furnished, but very adequate. The owner was quick to respond to any questions. The beds were Very good and comfortable. The throw in the living area needs to be replaced before someone falls. Because their foot gets tangled in the loops. I step in shower would be a plus, especially for older people. The house was very, very clean. Could be improved. They did not look extremely clean nor no. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to other people.

Think twice about renting during flu season!

Property was well maintained and equipped. Had difficulty communicating with host. We had to shorten our stay due to severe cold virus. Made contact with host about credit for our shortened stay but no reply. We both agreed we would stay at the rental again but under healthier conditions. V.A. hospital nearby, tested us negative for covid, but a severe cold virus for both of us.
