The first impression of this property was not great. It is a motel a step below Holiday Inn Express, Hampton Inn, Microtel in modern appearance. No amenities such as a small pool or dubious free breakfast. However, upon checkin we found the room to be exceptionally clean, comfortable bed and good quality towels and toiletries. The price was substantially less than the previously listed brands so we found the value was quite good. It was quiet and provided a good nights sleep.

The staff was very friendly, service was very quick and easy, the room was very nice and clean, no issues with comfort, my only nick pick was they didn’t have any breakfast, all they had was juice and coffee, but other than that it was a nice stay.

It was a little off putting to get a call at 6 asking when we will arrive. They should have clear after hours instructions if they are worried about timing. The host was a weird rude nice, having computer issues but no explanation. And it was even more annoying when we got a knock on the door at 8:45 asking if we were reading to check out. Overall the room appeared clean and smelt fresh. The headboard was dirty, light switches, handles and fridge were all dirty. Bed was comfortable and clean. Pillows were great. The bathroom was very clean except the vent that could definitely use a clean. There was not a place to plug a curling iron and there was a weird hanger for clothes in middle of the walkway. All in all glad we stayed.

We stayed at Best Inn on sunday, June 8. Our stay was good. We had to call the host to check in however, he arrived in about 5 minutes and check in was quick. The room was clean and looked good. We had a question about the ac in our room and it was quickly handled. Our only concern is that the outside door to the rooms doesn't appear to be secure, a lock that can be accessed with a room key could be added.

The property was spotlessly clean and the owner and staff were very nice and helpful. The room was clean and quiet and had obviously been remodeled fairly recently. Would definitely say here again.

They never seem to disappoint! Another great stay at an awesome price. We love the ground-floor rooms and the quiet location that is away from the hustle and bustle yet still has places to eat just a few minutes away. The rooms have always been clean and well-maintained. Even though we were at the far end of the hall from the parking area it was still closer than almost all of the bigger motels out there. This will continue to be our first choice when we need to stay in Salina!

A nice older motel

An old hotel that has been renovated. The room was really nice, recently painted and new carpet and furniture. The parking lot was a little small and I’m not sure about the neighborhood a lot of industrial businesses and a strip club a few blocks away but the motel and service was fine

This is my go-to when traveling to/from CO or whenever I come to Salina. Best price in town, super-clean, very comfy beds, close to the interstate and a short drive from downtown. Always have a great stay here!

This property has the nicest, cleanest and newest rooms for a motel in Kansas at these prices! We plan on staying here every time we cross Kansas! Rooms are so well- thought and clean and convenient and it is on the site of a historic Salina motel on old Highway 40! A great stay!
