Superb house with perfect location!
This was a special break for my family with my aunt visiting from India. The house was immaculate and comfortable. Everything was so thought through. We loved the welcome prosecco and treats; thank you so much! The check in and check out process was so clear and easy. The house is also a short walk to the beach so no hassle with driving and finding parking. We loved all of the facilities in the kitchen... It's truly home from home! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay in your stunning home. So pleased!

Fabulous house
We stayed with another family of 4 and had a great weekend. First impressions where fabulous especially with the welcome of a selection of sweet treats, apple juice, milk and a bottle of fizz. The house is well presented and very clean. Everyone had a great time. Just a short walk away the beach, just perfect. Will definitely come back another time. Thank you!

Perfect seaside house for 8!
This property was perfect for our long weekend away with another family of 4. It is literally minutes walk to the superb beach of Camber Sands and also to the Gallivant for dinner!
The house is well equipped, very clean, well decorated and very comfortable. The lounge is on the 1st floor which worked well for us as the kids hung out there whilst the adults used the kitchen.
Nice touch to arrive to prosecco, cake, macaroons amongst other things and Sophie and Richard provide a great online information pack with lots of local recommendations. They also were able to allow a late check out which was really appreciated.
We hired bikes and cycled from the house to the Nature Reserve and into Rye, which I'd recommend. Good BBQ. Small outside space but with the beach just minutes away that's all you need.
I highly recommend the property!

Fantastic holiday house. Perfect for the celebration we had in mind. Ideal location for the beach.
Brilliant house. Some lovely touches including complimentary prosecco and locally made cakes on arrival. Really helpful communication and the owners were really flexible on checking out time, which really made a difference. We have made some lovely, happy memories at RBH and would recommend it to anyone looking for a chilled break on the coast, who is not bothered about sand in their turn-ups. Thank-you.

Beautiful, well equipped property, a stones throw from the beach!
Richard and Sophie's holiday home was perfect. We were a party of 7 plus a baby and the arrangement of rooms really suited us. Additionally, the house was beautifully decorated, and well equipped with all the utensils, appliances etc that you could need. The welcome gift on arrival was a lovely touch.
We also requested a late check out, which was kindly granted to allow us a more leisurely morning on the day of our departure.
I would highly recommend this home and will definitely return!

Rye Bay House in early April
NIce, well laid-out and well equipped house which was bright and warm. Our three children (12,10, 8) each had their own bedroom which was a rare treat on holiday and our large dog was able to find plenty of space.
House was clean on arrival, had a small but pleasant garden (more than big enough for our singable) and Sophie helped us out immediately when we had a problem of our own making.
Beach is fantastic especially as it was sunny most days (cold in the shade). Shops in walking distance are pretty limited for self-catering but we organised a tesco delivery for soon after arrival. Local take-aways are a bit pricey & not very good the nearer you get to the beach, but the fish & chips and Indian from the main road on the other side of Pontins were OK.
We don't often go back to the same place for holidays but this was fourth one to Camber and third with Besidethesea - we'll be back.

Lovely house, clean and quiet environment
It was a pleisure to stay at Rye Bay House. Me and my family loved the selected interior. The beds are comfortable and breakfast outside in the morning sun a must.
Nice nearby restaurants offer tasty food and Rye is worth a visit. By car its about 2hrs to London and 1 1/2 to Brighton.

Tolles Haus
