Everything was very good. the staff were attentive and catered for your every need. The hotel has a good selection of restaurants and of course there is the casino. There is also a nice pool with a bar and a food oulet. The only gripe I did have was that the hot water was seldem more than tepid. I reported this on occassions but to no avail. A short walk away is a shopping mall with more eateries and shopping.

Worst experience at exorbitant prices. Rooms unmaintained, leakages everywhere including damp carpet, bathroom leaks between floors, had all my toiletries makeup and a Chanel bag destroyed by a leakage and was relocated to another property and room less for an entire day and night. The staff were exceptional. I arrived in Johannesburg at 0400hrs. Arrived at the Hotel at 0800hrs. The manager was brilliant in allowing a very early check in by 0830 hours. Normal check in time is 1400hrs. We really appreciated the early check in as we had been travelling all day. Breakfast was absolutely brilliant.

We felt we didn’t know where things were. When we asked for a map at reception they didn’t have one. Generally, more information was required in the room so that guests can make the most of their stay. Daily cleaning services were excellent. Minor maintenance issues - toilet seat loose and sliding sideways and electric PowerPoint came out of wall when removing phone charger plug and created potential safety issue.
