We stayed for one night with two kids. Such a fun property! First, so many freebies - 2 free drinks at check-in, milk and cookies in the evening in a cozy little den, and the free breakfast was good, some hot options, some grab and go, & free and big parking lot. Staff was friendly and helpful. Cute little art-o-matic machine in the lobby my kids loved. Excellent location to old salem, a nice walk down a paved path, also right next door to a few good restaurants (we went to the Mexican place, it was great!) The room was wonderful, space ro spreadout and felt more "fancy" with the high ceilings. My one con is i had a hard time finding charging outlets, i had to unplug some of the lamps. Thats it!

Our stay was fantastic! We really love how it’s set up at Christmas time! The staff are super friendly, amenities were great and it’s just a super cozy and convenient spot. Our room was a little noisy and some gym equipment didn’t work, but overall it was a great stay and we will definitely be back!

The heating wasn't working, hot water ran out after 3 minutes, I took cold showers in a cold room, no bathroom heat whatsoever. Nice place, but the comfort was not.

The parking was wonderful! Always spaces available because they have plenty of parking areas! Breakfast was great! A big variety! Had all the food groups covered! The staff and atmosphere was wonderful! One of the breakfast attendants has been there 15 years and she is exceptional! Thanks for a great stay!

Brookstown Inn is a gem located in the historic downtown Winston Salem. The staff service is top- notched. We really enjoyed the extra things that they provided for guests to make their stay memorable, like the nightly cookies and warm milk and the cheese and wine experience. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we’re back in town. Merry Christmas everyone!

The building is beautiful outside!! Our room was huge. TV had the more channels than most hotels have available. Really enjoyed our complementary beer/wine and cheese. Would recommend to anyone that doesn’t have to have everything modern. Our room was just over the “breakfast room” so we could hear them downstairs talking but it wasn’t a nuisance. Room was still very warm even though it’s was an old building and in the teens outside. Very similar to a bed and breakfast but on a larger scale.

The entire Inn was amazing. The architecture is beautiful. Our room was one of a kind. There was complimentary wine/beer and cheese and crackers in the pub. Also cookies and milk. Breakfast was good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
