Amazing place to stay. We were attending a funeral down the road and it was the perfect location for us. Great value for money and including breakfast which was excellent. The best part though was the staff who were all welcoming, friendly and went out of their way for everyone. Would recommend 100%!

The room was clean and spacious. As it was meant for 1 disabled person we requested extra towels, pillows, and cups and glasses, which were all brought to the room straight away. All staff were very helpful throughout our stay, making it very friendly and comfortable. I even had immediate help with charging my car. Excellent.

The room we stayed in was really nice. Staff didn't explain that breakfast was available or offer it. Was also not told that booking out was at 10am & not 9:30, like the website states. I was not able to see the additional information until I went in to hand my key in at 9:10 when I was leaving yesterday (Sunday)

This hotel is actually a learning centre running business management courses. It could be very busy I expect, although it was not when I was there. It is in a lovely setting and the bar and restaurant were creatively designed. The reception was in a stunning part of the old house. My room was in the “Old Quad” wing. It was very comfortably decorated and clean. The checkout time is early at 9:30am and breakfast service stops at 8:45am so not a place for a leisurely start to the day. Its rural location was very pretty, everything was signposted except I couldn’t find the jogging trail.
