NH Hotels - accommodation in Rotterdam

PROs: Locations/Modern/Near Metro/Clean/Everything working/option for brekkie but expensive/Shower toiletries included and liquid soap for sink. CONS: Bike rental reasonable but was not smooth process to exit hotel, bikes only one size and had a smaller adult who just about found a lone bike small enough then bike bits could be better maintained - one couldn't unlock and other seat loose. But we made it work. We had been left to collect and work out by ourselves and after requesting assistance for the second time the guy gave very basic helpful information which was not obvious to us -we should have been escorted to the bikes and made sure they were in working order and suitable for our heights. During unprecedented recent heatwave hotel did not provide complementary water in the rooms nor corridor, so we requested at the bar which barman was fine with but when on another day we did, non bar staff frowned upon us filling a water bottle.. - do better. Bathroom hooks in the wrong place and items would get wet as in shower! Would appreciate a magnifying mirror other hotels have on moveable arm. No local shops/cafes nearby but we are used to travelling for food , so did so for breakfast. No option to opt out of replacement towels or cleaning to each day to help the environment. We would recommend and stay again.

Location is convenient, staff are helpful/friendly, breakfast was convenient and good. Clean, comfortable, safe, and welcoming. Ana at the front desk was very patient, professional, and friendly in providing us directions to our destinations. Great choice!

Very Pleasant room in a modern hotel . The room was nicely designed but needed a few paint touch ups. The seperate toilet to shower is a nice touch. The location is great but you can hear the music from foodhallen in the room till very late at night. AC worked well, which was a big bonus during a heatwave, but it did leak water over the floor. The room wasn’t huge but spacious enough. We had a cot from the hotel which was big, but it barely fit beside the bed, making the room cramped. Check in was very friendly. Check out was tediously slow. Made more frustrating by staff sat in an office chatting despite there being a long Q. People who tried to drop their key and go, despite saying ‘I’ve pre paid’ were met with a bad attitude.
