The elevator for guests had the appearance of a service elevator. My daughters got stuck in the elevator when it malfunctioned, and staff indicated to them that this was not an uncommon occurrence. Bathtub bottom was curved and slippery. Only one towel holder (in a room with two beds) made it difficult to dry towels. Outlets above nightstands were not tight enough to secure phone charger. Parking fee seemed excessive for this location. Breakfast "bistro" was closed, due to apparent staffing problem. On the plus side: staff was professional, room was comfortable, and on-site, free-standing restaurant/pub was excellent.

Always extremely clean and new looking. Wish the bar area had a little music or anything to make more lively. One complaint the parking charge is rediculously high most hotels in area do not charge for parking period this is usually 15% of the room here big turnoff

I frequently stay in this hotel when I arrive in NY. I often come into JFK airport, take the Long Island Railroad that is within walking distance of the hotel. Stay one night and then take a bus that is within walking distance out to the end of Long Island. Mass transportation is all well within walking. The staff is informative and very helpful.
