Overall the hotel is good. Big rooms, big bathrooms. The breakfast is not good, coffee is terrible and not all food is very fresh. It seems like some food is cooked the night before and is sitting overnight. Also, we got one bed (with 2 mattresses) when we booked a room with 2 beds. But the location is good, 20 min walk to Colosseum, half hour walk to the Trevi Fountain and other attractions. We walked everywhere.

We love the contemporary design, the amazing spa which they let us enjoy for hours, and the rooftop restaurant where we had most of our meals when we stayed in Rome. Will definitely stay at this hotel should we come this way again!

Overall we had a fab stay at The Hive. The location is brilliant. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. They were also well stocked with mini toiletries which were re-stocked daily. The spa was also a welcome treat after a morning of sight seeing. We enjoyed one drink at the roof top bar, which was lovely too. The only slight criticism I have is the noise from what appeared to be the bins being emptied at midnight in the property opposite. This was so loud and seemed to go on for ages. Other than that, small inconvenience, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would recommend & return :)

Beautiful and luxurious feel! Room was super modern and the central air was TOP TIER!!! Check-in process was quick and just a heads up, you have to pay the city tax at check out for each night (around 7 euros per night).
