Rooms are clean and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They really get 5 stars. My only problem with this place was the water in the sink that had almost no pressure and the water tempreture in the shower that was NOT consistent and cold water would flow randomly.

Clean room, the night time manager was really friendly and helpful. Tried his best under the circumstances. Unfortunately due to a series of unfortunate events our hotel room had no WiFi, no tv and no kettle to make a hot drink. We were upgraded to the spa room which was in the basement so couldn’t even get phone reception. Although we did have the company of an overly friendly mosquito through the night. The breakfast was also comically bad offering Kraft cheese, oily bacon, fluorescent coloured fruit juice, underripe bananas and greasy eggs. The morning manager didn’t ask us how our stay was, I guess he didn’t want to know!

Small, lovely hotel by the Colosseum.

This is a lovely hotel located within walking distance of the Colosseum. It's rooms are small, but neat and clean. The beds are comfortable and the windows open for lovely breezes. The shower stalls were also very small since they're square with two doors that open. The hotel is also located within walking distance of a ton of delicious restaurants, a gelateria, and convenience as well as souvenir shops. We tried several of the restaurants and they were all delicious. We went to Italy for my mom's birthday and they had prosecco, chocolate, and strawberries waiting when we arrived. They also arranged for a car to pick us up at the airport which made arriving so much easier! This is a small, lovely hotel in a great location in Rome. I highly recommend it!

The placement of the hotel was great, the people who worked there were kind and helpful. However there is no elevator for luggage, so you are hauling luggage up several flights of stairs to your room. The rooms are very small, VERY small. The bathroom can only fit one person, and the the bathroom area was pretty ran down and felt a little dirty. The side tables in our room were very dusty, and the bed and very large dips in the mattress, it was unpleasant.

Do NOT book the room with the Jacuzzi. Once you arrive the water in the Jacuzzi will be freezing cold and there’s no way to heat it when the “heater” is turned off during the hotter months. There’s no windows or anything else in that room worth staying there if the Jacuzzi isn’t working. No windows so it feels like a dungeon and the wifi reception and cell reception down there is HORRIBLE. I tried getting my money back once I found out and they offered half even though I was willing to leave without staying. This is far from a romance room as possible.
