Cosy apartment with original flat and windows of 100 years ago, comfortable and spacious, ideal for groups of friends or families. It has a spacious and bright room with three single beds and view on the street for Colosseum and a comfortable double bedroom; the living room has LCD televisions with satellite channels and a sofa; the kitchen has a table for 5 people, is fully equipped with fridge, oven, microwave and LCD televisions with satellite channels..

Very large apartment with vintage charm in a preserved historic building next to a park on the site of Nero's villa, and just a few minutes walk to the Colosseum, Forum, Circus Maximus, and more. Very unique old apartment with one side looking over the street, the other into a courtyard. Nice little kitchen for simple meals and sipping coffee. Convenient to almost every neighborhood and historic site in central Rome, and just a few minutes walk to the Termini station. Plenty of groceries, cafes, and small shops within in an easy walking distance. The Colosseum can be seen from one of the windows, but the neighborhood feels removed from the relative chaos of the heavily touristed areas. Enzo was a super friendly, helpful, and easy to contact host. He always responded quickly and was accomidating to our travel plans.

This ad does not do this place justice. Your staying in the historical area, within walking distance to so much. The home adds to the old world experience. Beds are firm. Enzo was a wonderful host.

You will struggle to find an apartment with a better location (genuinely 4/5 minutes walk through a park to the Colloseum) and a more friendly and helpful host.Enzo met us at the door and was so helpful in explaining the property and giving some local recommendations.The rooms are exactly as listed with one double bedroom and one triple room and everything was tidy, clean and fresh.We stayed 4 nights and it wasn’t enough even with the fantastic location ( the metro and busses are close by) making it easy to move around the city.Highly recommended!!

The location is perfect. The apartment is huge - bigger than we needed. The owner is very helpful. The only downside is that the wifi is painfully slow. For that reason, this is a 4.5 star rating that I rounded up to 5 stars. I would stay again when traveling with family.

Nice stay

Love the location and Enzo has been great all along regarding the transportation arrangement and check in process. He met us when we got off the taxi and went through the check in processes in great details and provided excellent directions on supermarket, food and what to do. By being so close to the colosseo we got to enjoy it every night as well. There is no AC in the room and luckily it cooled down at night for us so it was not an issue for us this time. There are two bedrooms which is very nice for 3 of us.

Perfect family stay in Rome

Perfectly located apartment a few short minutes walk from the Colosseum, spacious, clean, tastefully decorated and fully appointed. Enzo the host graciously organised transfers from and to the airport, and gave us a friendly welcome on arrival with a complete run through of how things worked. He also provided recommendations of places to eat and see, all of which were spot on. I’d be delighted to stay again one day if I make it back to Rome.

Simply the best

Our family of 5 stay in Enzos apartment and it was perfect. He arranged transportation from the airport and met us at the apartment. Told us about the neighborhood and where the closest grocery store was, how to get to different places and answered any questions we had. We had a question later and he answered right away. Will definitely visit again and can highly recommend. Thanks for a wonderful time.

We stayed 3 nights in early October and our host Enzo was excellent- very good communications, very responsive and helpful- he organized an excellent private car for our trip to the airport too. The apartment was very spacious and in an excellent location with a view to the coliseum and park. The beds were comfortable and set up as we requested for 2 adults in separate bedrooms. The kitchen was stocked with dishes and cooking equipment. The shower was great for us - but it might be a bit small for a bigger person. The washing machine was easy to use and drying racks were provided. We would definitely book again if we returned to Rome.

This property (and Enzo) are just wonderful. We were a family of 5 (12,14 &17). The apartment is spacious, clean and charming. Good beds, plenty of pillows etc well kitted out kitchen although apart from breakfast we ate out every meal!! . Shower looks old but is powerful and hot. Location is just fantastic. Can walk everywhere and metro so close if wanting to go further afield. Gorgeous park just across the road leading straight to Colosseum. Enzo was as charming as the flat. We were very delayed due to passport control and he met us with a smile at 11pm!! And came to check us out at 7am on a Sunday. He was kind, helpful and we felt we could contact him with any issues, although we didn’t have any!!!! Supermarket around the corner - will need to grab milk, tea and coffee etc as not really any supplied. But that’s pretty standard. Thank you Enzo. We’ll definitely be back (maybe without the kids!)

This was a beautiful apartment in a building with it's original features. Enzo was a great host, and walked us through the apartment when we got there, and made sure we had everything we needed. He also made arrangements for us to get to the airport on our last day in Rome.

Great Apartment near the Colosseum

This was a very large apartment located near the Colosseum. I would recommend this place not only because of its location to the metro, but also because of its location to a bus stop that will take you practically anywhere you want to go in Rome. Two buses will get you to the Testaccio/Trastevere area, and others will get you pretty much anywhere you want to go downtown. My friend and I found the apartment to be clean and quiet compared to other areas of Rome. Enzo was a fantastic host who was excellent about communicating things and was very helpful with getting a transfer to the airport early in the morning for our departure. I would recommend this VRBO to friends and family.

One of the best I ever had

We needed a place to stay in Rome for a couple of days. Wanted something central to not have to deal with driving in the city. By chance I came across this gem. Huge apartment that can easily accommodate 5+ people. From the booking to the arrival the host was in contact with us. We could even get into the apartment early on the day of arrival. Everything is exactly as described. The host met us at the apartment and explained everything in detail to us. He gave me his WhatsApp number in case there were any further questions(which we didn't have). Everything you need is available at the apartment, from dishes, cutlery, additional blankets, washing machine etc. There were even 2 umbrellas next to the entrance door for rainy days. At the last day the host came by for a quick check out before we left. He even arranged for transportation to the airport for us, which was extremely helpful since none of us spoke Italian well enough. The host speaks English very well and there was no language barriers. Would definitely recommend to anybody that's looking for a place in Rome.

Center location for many sight-seeings in Rome. No AC but it was during Oct for our trip so we did not need one. We felt safe walking from the apartment visiting many places in Rome- Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Roma Termini… We event walked to Piazza del Popolo near Borghese Garden - 45min. The property owner - Enzo- was very nice. He provided good communication, booked us a taxi from airport, and all info re: our stay in Rome. This was our family first trip to Rome, so we certainly appreciated all Enzo’s assistances making our trip a pleasure one. Thank you Enzo!

This apartment is for those who love something a little different to a generic hotel room or a "could be anywhere" styled apartment. It's very old with original tiled floors and furniture and a little quirky, but has a lot of charm.... Although not quite as much charm as Enzo the owner! He is very helpful and kind and makes sure you have everything for your stay, right down to arranging transfers to and from the airport for you if you want (which are excellent). We loved that it was so close to supermarkets and little restaurants. We didn't cook (there are lots of pots, pans and utensils & a stove), but did prepare breakfasts and some lunches. It's very easy to walk everywhere and see everything in Rome and a big bonus to be able to stroll across to see the Colosseum at different times of the day without the major crowds. The apartment is very safe with an external (street) door into the courtyards and then a large entry door. We found it very clean and comfortable and there is a SMEG washing machine. We had the best time and want to thank Enzo for such a fantastic stay, we can't wait to come back ..... some day! Grazie Mille

Enzo was so warm and welcoming, showing us the ins and outs of the apartment, helping us settle in, and giving us some local recommendations to try out. We found the apartment to be exactly what we needed with a well equiped kitchen, spacious and full of character. There were plenty of fans to help with the warm weather (no air con, but we were aware of this, have no issue with not having one and fans did the job just as well ). I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Enzo for making our time in Rome just that little bit more special.

Great location

This place is in a great location, perfect for walking around Rome. We had a great time and it was close to everything! Grocery store just a 5 min walk restaurants all around and just a few min walk to the colosseum. Lots of room for us and our 3 kids. Enzo was very helpful and did a great job of checking us in. He is very prompt on getting us checked in and also checked out. I would definitely recommend this property if you want to stay in the heart of Rome.

Few days with family in Rome

The location was great for the train station and the Coloseum/Forum. Restaurants and cafes were only a couple of blocks away. We also enjoyed the park across the street. Enzo was terrific to communicate with and very responsive as we were juggling changing arrival times. He also was helpful in arranging a cab for our trip to the airport. We really appreciated the spaciousness of the apartment. Lots of room for four adults to spread out. It was really hot while we were there so it was a bit noisy at night when we had the windows open.
