The hotel was gorgeous, the rooms were big with ample space for suitcases. The bathroom had a heated towel rack and the room had automatic blinds that would close off the light at night. The hotel itself was quiet and staff was helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The breakfast options were extensive from house made pastries, quiche , eggs, fruit , salad, cereal and multiple beverage options. The hotel also has a restaurant in the lobby which is convenient and had. Plenty of daily events. Finally the hotel offers a shuttle service from the airport which was convenient

If you're OK with walking, this is the perfect location to stay in Rome. It's far enough away from the Vatican & Colosseum that you get some semblance of peace and quiet during the evenings. The Vatican and Trevi fountain are about a 5 mile round trip walk that has plenty of sites to see in between. The hotel is clean, room was excellent, the morning breakfast buffet was fresh and well stocked with many different items. Hotel staff was polite and attentive. I most certainly recommend Albergo Etico Roma to anyone spending time in Rome.

The staffing was excellent, rooms clean and in very good condition. The lack of evening cooking on some evenings was unfortunate when the rain fell and shopping facilities were limited close at hand. Otherwise the hotel was on very good. I would point out that compared with Rome Belfast has an excellent purveyor of Havana and other cigars in Miss Moran's off High Street. It puts all the tobacconists I visited to shame, even the one recommended by an Italian gentleman.

This hotel is not very close to the main attractions for walking, but ok for cab service. The room and shower are a little small. The overall property is well maintained, close to the river and the breakfast great
