Great location. Could hear the roar of the waves from inside the unit. Murphy bed was great. It was comfortable, easy to pull up and down, and allowed for open space when not in use.

Was a beautiful place to stay but definitely need to do some property upkeep! Room 334 definitely needs some fresh paint and new carpet. And the whole room needed a good cleaning. But everything else was great

The view of the beach from this resort is amazing, especially during a spectacular sunset. The town is just a few minutes drive away with dining and quaint little stores. Garibaldi town is only a 15-minute drive with additional options. There is also a nice boardwalk through the cedar forest on the other side of town. The resort staff were very friendly. The office has many movie CDs and puzzles for those so inclined. The TV was a major source of frustration as the resort uses Samsung TV. We couldn't receive LIVE local news, sports, shows, etc. Our room was spacious (1B/2Ba) but lacked decent lighting. The kitchen was well stocked with everything necessary, including instructions for using the convection/microwave oven. Unfortunately, the room is in dire need of some TLC. Upon first look, everything appeared to be clean. After being there a day, we began to see the disrepair. The slider doors did not lock, the screens had holes, there was black mold on the bathroom ceilings and in the window track (noticed when opening for air), the thermostats were very outdated, etc. We did enjoy our time there; we just had to overlook the issues for a few days.

Beautiful views and an okay but out of date room and the staff is extremely unprofessional and very rude. They called at 6:00pm on the night of our check in to tell me that they closed at 8 pm- which was not mentioned anywhere. I asked what time checkout was and they said 11am but failed to tell me that there was a fee 11:15 AM. They left a lock box for us and although the weather was very rainy and stormy, and there is no elevator to get up to the rooms, we got in with no issues. But, when we opened our balcony door we saw a shipwrecked boat on the beach in front of our room and the people staying above us were up every hour on the hour and then at 5 am started dragging suitcases across the floor- and you can hear everything through the ceiling. And construction crews got there at 6:30 am to remove the mast from the ship. We got maybe two hours of sleep. They office told me the people above us had a family emergency but regardless, a late fee was charged as we were still moving our suitcases from the room on the second floor, down the stairs at 11:30 until 11:40 when I went to the office after someone came to tell my husband at the car we were going to be charged a fee. I asked if they could make an exception to the rule due to the circumstances but they refused and were immediately on the defense the minute I walked in the office door. I tried to get Expedia to refund us and the hotel refused. Don't stay here.

Unparalled views and beach access. Staff incredibly friendly and informative and accommodating. Spacious room. All amenities provided, including kitchen essentials.
