Blissful peace, with decadent Chef at hand!

A place for blissful peace, mixed with tantalizing gourmet food and or cuisine of your choosing! Rosita is the breakfast cook and cleaning lady, and when I got a cold she made homemade remedies! Also Fran, the chef ordered up ideas, and took suggestions and recommendations for the food... Fran was excellent i wouldn't stay for 5 days and 4 nights a little long....

Chef Fran was truly a fantastic cook. The meals were the best we had all of our two weeks of travel in Costa Rica. The location was beautiful and so was the architecture. We felt a bit constrained by the three meals being included in the price of our room. Other than that, everything about the hotel was phenomenal.

This is an amazing hotel in the middle of the jungle, with a roaring river next to it, luxuriant vegetation all around. Food was very good, Jeff surprised us with the lunch and dinner that was always very good.

The staff are all very kind and attentive. So much heart goes into the property. Very close to everything in Chirripo. 5-star experience.

Hôtel à éviter, attente de 10mn devant le portail fermé sans sonnette à l'arrivée, accueil quasi clandestin par une gardienne femme de ménage ne parlant que l'espagnol et pas prévenue de notre arrivée alors que j'avais réservé depuis des semaines, essayant de me passer au téléphone la patronne me raccrochant au nez à plusieurs reprises, pas d'enregistrement d'arrivée, aucun autre personnel, aucune prestation autre qu'un médiocre petit déjeuner, aucune boisson disponible, bar et piscine fermées, repas de demie pension à prendre à 8kms au restaurant du coin, aucun conseil de balade ou de distraction, bref une prestation de service nullissime au mépris du client et une escroquerie à plus de 350 euros la nuit pour trois nuits. Seule consolation importante: très belle chambre conforme à nos attentes mais là aussi avec service minimal. Donc une sorte de RB&B exorbitant au prix d'un hôtel soit disant de luxe.
