Recentemente me hospedei no Hotel Windsor Marapendi, localizado na Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro. Infelizmente, minha experiência foi marcada por alguns pontos negativos persistentes. O hotel tem uma estrutura de grande porte e, durante minha estadia, estava com ocupação máxima. Embora eu entenda que isso possa gerar filas e demora no check-in, o hotel deveria ter se estruturado melhor, pois já tinham conhecimento das reservas e da alta taxa de ocupação. Contudo, os problemas mais graves foram a internet e o sistema de acesso aos quartos. A internet simplesmente não funcionava para ninguém da minha família, que ocupava cinco quartos em diferentes andares. A conectividade era inexistente. Além disso, as chaves dos quartos desmagnetizavam com frequência, um sistema de acesso antiquado que nos obrigava a retornar à recepção (sempre lotada e com longas esperas) pelo menos duas a três vezes, apenas para conseguir acessar os apartamentos. O problema se repetia, sem solução. Em relação a esses problemas, a única ação do hotel foi o envio de uma carta na noite anterior à minha saída, informando que poderiam disponibilizar um aparelho de internet para o meu quarto. No entanto, nada foi efetivamente feito ou solucionado. Outro ponto fraco é a piscina. Ela é visivelmente pequena e com pouquíssimos lugares para a quantidade de quartos e o tamanho do hotel.
