I reported a leak in my the bathroom had no one responded until sixteen hours later. I was told because I had a do not disturb sign up, that's why they didn't come into my room. But then they called me and asked me did I want to change room after 16 hours?But I checked out the next day. Sorry I don't recommend this property.

Okay to start. It is on the beautiful beach of Leme in Leme RJ Brazil. It’s pretty much the same stretch as Copacabana; not that hectic but just as beautiful. Plenty of amenities near by. As for the hotel/room itself; as soon as you walk in the door you are greeted with a wonderful smell and friendly staff. That smell alone made me feel like I chose the right place. We got to the hotel a little after 9am and check in was for 2pm. While they offered to store our luggage so we can explore, they told us to give them 40 minutes and we’d have the room early and so we did! Such a seamless check in! The guest bathroom itself had the same wonderful smell so if you needed to go and be discreet about handling business in the bathroom, it was yours to do so. The male urinal had ice in it too to mask the smell which was a wise move. The concierge desk also had options for excursions and suggestions nearby and through out the city! To our room; we had the triple room seas view. It was nestled in the corner of the ninth floor right when you walk off the elevator. It was very very clean as expected from just the way the downstairs was clean. This place takes A LOT of pride in their business and it shows… Not if, but WHEN we come back, we’ll stay here again!!!! Thank you!

Pretty good, the rooftop only has 4 chairs to relax which is sad because there’s so much space and the beach is very noisy. It’s not luxury but it’s clean and fine. Staff is nice and breakfast is decent

Thank God I was at Arena Leme Hotel!

My stay at Arena Leme Hotel was amazing. I wish they had little things that people may forget to travel with, like an iron, but other than that, the hotel staff was great. Especially the front desk staff (Elizabeth). She was the best. I had so many problems with my bank and phone service, but she made me comfortable and worked with me until it was resolved. I would definitely stay there again

The staff was very, very nice. The breakfast was ok, not the best, but it was good. It was buffet style but didn't have much to choose from. The Rooftop was nice, and the gym was acceptable (it has 1 all-in-one and 2 treadmills), but it served its purpose. Honestly, the best part was the views, helpful staff, and the fact that I could walk onto the beach in less than a minute. If I come back to Rio, I'll be staying in the same hotel!

Unwanted downgrade

I added this one night stay after a few day stay with our tour company. The tour company booked us the cheapest room with two twins and a view of a building. I asked for a triple with oceanfront view on the last day booked separately. I received a twin room with oceanview and was not refunded the difference.

I NEVER LEAVE REVIEWS…..This was my first time visiting Rio De Janeiro. Brazil is beautiful. I arrived at the hotel and was greeted by Gabriel who was amazing with the check in and accommodations, However once i entered my hotel room i noticed it wasn’t cleaned properly the bathroom had mold and there were what appeared to be blood stains on the bathroom floor. House cleaning arrived and i pointed out that the bathroom was not clean. she cleaned up the blood stains as opposed to cleaning the entire floor and quickly left. I called the reception area and the phone fell out the wall and i observed a large hole in the wall. the mirror fell off along with the fixtures and it was a complete nightmare. I tried to not let it ruin my trip i kindly asked for another room and was quickly accommodated the next day. The next room seemed good I headed out to dinner with my family that evening and when i returned there was a pool of water along with a leaking ceiling from the air conditioning vents. again house keeping and maintenance was called. this process ensued for the duration of my stay. I would never return there and wouldn’t advise you to either. the icing on the cake was when capital one notified me that i had been charged twice following my departure. Rio is beautiful i loved it despite my hotel dilemma. it’s affordable lots of quaint shops cafe restaurants fresh food i loved it i hope to return one day.
