The check-in process was not clear until I clicked on the small print link in Expedia. You had to go into the hotel lobby around the corner to check in. The room door card key was balky and generally took several attempts to open the door. Maid service was erratic. No one came for two days, then the next day came in the evening. One day they came at 7:30 AM. Bed bottom sheets were not fitted and came loose easily with movement in the night. Breakfast was very good.

After checking in the lobby inside Real Palace Hotel (had a bunch of mosquitoes at the waiting area), we went to our room on the 12th floor. WOW was the room completely different than what the pictures show.. It was disgusting. There were 2 beds and the sheets had stains all over. We then used the bathroom and turned on the faucet and guess what? Water just went through the sink and right onto the ground. The pipe was that messed up. Cabinets and everything looked old and unclean. Walls were dirty. The bath area does not looks like something that belongs to a building that is 1.5 blocks away from famous Copacabana beach at all. Of course we then had to go back down to the lobby to request for another room and luckily they gave us another room immediately that was in decent shape compared to the first one. Another thing that could be improved is the air conditioning machine is REALLY REALLY LOUD so get ready for that. Secondly, We were on the 14th level and there was no wifi that could reach us so we had to use our local sim card that we bought. What we liked at this "hotel" is the breakfast. There were a lot of variations mainly consisting of fruits/pastries/breads and just your typical breakfast with different eggs styles. Service overrall is pretty good, they speak english and try to accommodate you.

Ótimo custo benefício

Ótimo custo benefício, próximo a praia, mercados, restaurantes e farmácias. Café da manhã compatível com o valor da diária. Porteiro apenas até as 22:00 e não recebemos chave da portaria, então é preciso solicitar na recepção a abertura do portão. Tem que pedir cobertor na recepção pois não tem no quarto. Não tem telefone direto na recepção, caso precise é necessário descer até a recepção. Elevadores funcionam bem. Ar condicionado, tv e frigobar funcionaram bem. Banheiro limpo, com toalhas de banho e de rosto, papel higienico, sabonete, shampoo em quantidade boa, secador de cabelo funcionando bem. Quarto aconchegante, com cama bem macia, mas travesseiros duros. Chuveiro forte e água bem quente, apenas uma noite ficamos sem água quente para o banho, mas em pouco tempo foi solucionado o problema. Cartão da porta funcionou bem, ficamos hospedados em época de baixa temporada. Chegamos duas horas antes do checking e para entrar no quarto foi preciso pagar mais R$ 50,00.

Desde o primeiro dia tivemos problemas com a leitura do cartão (chave da porta). Subíamos até nosso o andar, prédio ao lado, e chegando no quarto não conseguíamos entrar e tínhamos que ir até a recepção. Esse é outro detalhe que não especificam no site, que há um prédio do lado com quartos e que o residencial sausalito não é o mesmo onde fica o restaurante, piscina, academia e etc. Na recepção fomos atendidas com cordialidade, porém é um lugar desorganizado e ninguém conseguiu resolver a situação da porta nos 6 dias que estivemos ali. O quarto também estava cheio de areia pelo box e pelo quarto. Desde o primeiro dia assim que chegamos. Localização e café da manhã bons. Não voltaria a me hospedar.

Foi uma ótima estadia. O café da manhã sem igual, incrível. Ficamos hospedados no Residencial, mas o hotel dá todo suporte de limpeza, podemos usar a área comum e tomamos café no hotel.

Infelizmente esqueci um copo Stanley na recepção, logo que fiz o check in, e ao informar que teria esquecido o copo na recepção, disseram que iriam verificar e não tive resposta. No dia seguinte pedi novamente que olhassem as câmeras de segurança e mais uma vez sem resposta. No dia de ir embora no checkout solicitei mais uma vez e depois de muita insistência, o gerente foi verificar as câmeras e me informou que houve falta de energia e que não havia imagens do referido dia. Em resumo, senti descaso com a falta de interesse em resolver um problema simples, imagino quando um hóspede perde um item de maior valor, como será a atitude.
