I had an amazing stay at Ibiza Barra Hotel. Nobody spoke any English and I don't speak any Portuguese, so there was definitely a language barrier, but all of the staff were so amazing and so patient while I tried to translate. Particularly Ezequiel was amazing, he was very friendly and helpful and we were sad to have to say goodbye. If I ever visit Barra again I will be looking to book here!

Decent place for the price.

I found the room to be in good state of repair and clean if a bit on the small side. The service was always friendly. A reasonable selection of food for breakfast but not extensive, no tea / coffee making facility in the room but coffee available during the evening. Location was fairly quiet even though there is a lot of construction nearby for a new road but I didn't hear any noise from it. A few restaurants, supermarket etc within easy walking distance and a fairly quiet beach 15 - 20 mins walk away.

Rio doesn't have to cost $200 per night

Price is good, but you need a car and need to speak some Portuguese or Spanish, as you will get lost and will need to ask directions.

The lobby and the breakfast are good but the rooms are not clean, beds very small, towels very old, very noisy street and the acoustic of the building is really bad. They only speak Portuguese.

Chegamos para fazer check in as 17 e o quarto ainda nao estava pronto. Tivemos que esperar uns 20 minutos para arrumarem. No frigobar nao tem nada. É necessario pegar as bebidas na recepcao e, se nao consumir tudo, retorna-las na propria recepcao. Tirando esses pequenos detalhe foi tudo muito bom. Infraestrutura muito boa e agradavel. Tudo bem limpo e travesseiros confortaveis. Café da manhã bom mas nada excepcional

Pagamos por um bom quarto e ficamos com o pior!!!

Nunca encontrei um hotel que trata-se ps hóspedes com tão pouco caso. A estadia foi terrível, pagamos por um quarto com três camas de solteiro e vista. Quando fizemos o checkin nosso quarto tinha uma cama de casal e uma de solteiro e não havia cobertores suficientes para todos os hóspedes. Ao solicitar o quarto pelo qual havíamos feito a reserva, fomos informados de que não haviam quartos e nem cobertores disponíveis no hotel, ou seja, pagamos por um ótimo quarto e ficamos com o pior.
