This historic lodge is full of character and charm and right on the lake. Furniture and structures are antique and for right in to the era of the architecture. There is plenty of seating lakeside and a few ways to sit by a fire. It's a lovely place to stay with friendly people in a family space.

Great time, the only real issue was a leaky sink and the Expedia site other than that staff was awesome, restaurant was great, food was excellent, and amenities were good. Definitely would stay again and recommend staying in a cabin here!

The Lake House is terrific... casual, homey, and relaxing. The outside stairs could probably use some work, but over all the place is great. Early morning kayaking is wonderful. Close to Cooperstown and Glimmerglass. We had a very relaxing vacation. Thank you!

I wish the weather had been better as I was unable to avail myself to kayaking and evening entertainment. Room was small but cozy and rustic, lots of wood and evocative of summer camping in lakeside cabins. Very old time style of check-in, and the desk is not staffed late at night.

I loved the downstairs and the restaurant. I felt the rooms could use better comforters and decoration. It wouldn’t take much to upgrade them aesthetically. The music stage in front of the lake was not pleasant to look at, but it probably helps their business model.

I wanted to like this place, but we were stuck in a closet. The room was just big enough for the bed and the bathroom was across the hall. Mattress was terrible and the floor was uneven so it felt like you were about to roll off the bed. We booked two nights but left after the first night. Not worth the pain of another night there. At least the staff was friendly.
