The Reykjavik Edition is one of the best hotels I've stayed at. For my first time in Iceland it was an unforgettable experience and the hotel was just as amazing as the country itself! The staff there were unreal and so accommodating, I've never felt more taken care of! The amenities are top notch and the location is an ideal base to explore Reykjavik as well as the rest of Iceland. I am so thankful I chose this hotel and would easily recommend it to anyone traveling to Iceland as the customer care is unparalleled! Skol to all the lovely people I met at the edition!

I was shocked to find that this is a 5 star hotel for which we paid 650 CAD per day and another 100 CAD in destination fees PER DAY. The room was VERY small. The in-room ambiance was worse than a 3 star hotel in any other city in the world. The bed was uncomfortable, bathroom was tiny.. perhaps even a bit dated.. Only exception was staff - they were outstanding.. and the location was fantastic.

This is a real gem of a hotel. The service is exceptional throughout from the spa, bars and restaurants. Nothing is ever problem and the staff are genuine. They go above and beyond to help. The food at the tides restaurant is definitely worthy of its Michelin recommendation. I would definitely recommend the al a carte selection for breakfast - the langoustine bennidict was beyond amazing.

If you are looking for outstanding accommodations, with amazing service and fantastic location this is it!!!! We plan to return to both Iceland and the Edition. We had a Harbor View Suite which was beautiful, the location can't be beat, minutes to everything just an amazing experience! Thank you for making out stay exceptional!

Cozy and calm

Cozy hotel. Very comfortable bed. The lighting is dark so it’s not that easy to see.
