Great Countr Stay!

My family stayed here while attending wedding events nearby. It’s beautiful farm style living! Chickens, olive trees, grape vines and more all on the property. We enjoyed fresh eggs and olive oil from the property! Eduardo and Magena were very communicative and welcoming. Because the home is tuscan rustic and in the countryside, don’t be alarmed by a few ants/bugs. The bathrooms and kitchen are nicely updated. Thanks so much for a great stay!

A dreamy olive grove/vineyard home

This house is so beautifully situated! Gorgeous grounds with lots of sitting space and a beautiful pool. My boys LOVED the dartboard and ping pong. We loved local restaurant 1250 and the proximity to Florence and Lucca. The bathrooms have great hot water and water pressure. A luxury in Europe. The kitchen has everything you need, including a microwave. The host is very communicative and kind, making checkin easy. I’d highly recommend for a beautiful Tuscan trip!

Great Tuscany Villa

This is a great villa in a lovely small town in Tuscany. Eduardo and Magena are great host. They have the best olive oil and can recommend a private chef to come make you a wonderful Italian dinner. We stayed 6 nights and visited several locations in the area including Pisa, Lucca, Florence and Senia.

Great stay in Reggello

Had a great two week vacation at Eduardo's place in Reggello. Beautiful little cabin with a pool and well kept yard, set within an olive orchard and vineyard. Hosts passed along some fresh eggs from the hens and tomatoes from the property. The house seems quite new by Italian standards and is in excellent condition. Pool is fantastic. We had a great stay and would highly recommend this spot for small groups and families.

Incredible place to stay, we loved it!!

There were seven of us staying for three nights in July 2024. It was simply amazing in every way. It was a highlight of our Italy experience. The location is in a great location for adventuring in Tuscany, but we had so much fun at this house. We used the pool, outdoor seating areas (numerous), grill, and games everyday. The house, bedrooms, and bathrooms were really nice too. So quiet and private, the grounds were so pretty. Speaking of which, you are nestled in the middle of gardens, fruit trees, grapes, olives, it’s agritourism, as we were welcomed to pick and eat anything we wanted. We made numerous delicious salads and grilled veggies right from the garden. Our entire family loved this place and Eduardo and family were so welcoming and helpful. We wish we were there for a week and want to come back and stay again. 100% recommend this place and 100% LOVED IT! Wow.

Perfection

This farmhouse was perfect for our family of 5. The setting for the house was beautiful and the vegetable and fruit plantings added to the beauty of the grounds. The tomatoes from the farm were delicious! The pool was refreshing and perfect for the kids to have fun in after a day of visiting different towns in Tuscany. The pics are a good representation of the property. We were about an hour away from every town we visited and that was perfect for us. We checked out Siena, Arezzo, San Gimignano, and Monteriggioni. The inside of the house was very clean and had everything we needed. We also had fun playing ping pong and foosball. Communication with Magena through whatapps was easy and her rec for a restaurant was just right. On our first night, we had help from Magena to arrange Lorenzo to cook us a multi-course meal. It was delicious and well worth it. The town of Reggello is charming and has everything you need for breakfast and dinner (and gelato!) if you decide not to cook. I would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to my friends. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Just perfect!

We had a beautiful stay, in a beautiful setting…it was just so peaceful. We definitely needed longer there!! It was a well appointed house in a gorgeous setting with vines, olive trees and a massive range of fruit, vegetables (and laying hens!) that our hosts invited us to take as we wished! (The tomatoes were incredible!) The pool was amazing and there was table tennis, a basketball hoop and darts - perfect entertainment for our young people. The house was very clean and well appointed. Magena was so attentive and helpful with any questions that we had. All in all 5 star - we would definitely return and recommend to others.

Fantastic Villa experience!

There were 6 of us staying at the villa and we had plenty of space. The inside was very clean and the bathrooms looked recently renovated. The pool was a highlight of the villa...definitely needed it to cool down as we visited in July. Magena and Eduardo were excellent hosts. They helped me arrange Prosecco and charcuterie boards for our arrival plus they put fans in all of the bedrooms that did not have air conditioning...that really helped to have a good night sleep. They also helped arrange a chef dinner at the villa and it was awesome...so much good food and wine! Thanks for a very memorable visit to the Tuscany region! Chris

Fantastic family holiday

We had a family of five and villa was brilliant. The property is equipped with everything we needed and the hosts went out of their way to make sure we had a good stay. It was extremely hot the week we were there and the pool was perfect for cooling down and relaxing. The town is very local and gives a genuine sense of community and how locals live in Tuscany. We had a rental car and it was easy to drive around to see other sites like San Gimingnano, Siena and Florence. However, we actually preferred being away from the crowds and coming back to Reggello. We would definitely recommend this as a place for a family holiday. Thanks Magena and Eduardo

Perfect for our family!

We loved staying here! The house was super clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor space just as much. The hostess was very helpful and hospitable. She gave us a tour of the grounds and made sure that we knew that we could pick strawberries and lemons from the garden, as well as gather eggs from the hens if needed. The house is only 30 minutes from Florence and close to many other great cities in Tuscany. We loved our visit and we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location!

Great house on lots of property covered with grape vines, fruit trees, and a garden from which we could make a salad and chickens that provided eggs. Perfect for taking a break from all the site-seeing. Magena and Eduardo were very communicative - super friendly and sweet. Our only suggestion would be to update the towels and mattresses. Overall, we had a great experience and were sad to leave.

Great Tuscan family base

Our family of six had a very comfortable stay at this lively place. The hosts Magena and Eduardo were so kind, communicative and welcoming, giving us fresh eggs and olive oil from their property as soon as we arrived. The house is well-equipped and was spotless. The views from the terrace overlooking the olive grove are beautiful. And Reggello is a nice quiet village that is not as busy as the popular hill towns but is surrounded by much natural beauty. We were grateful to find this place!

Fantastic Holiday!

The house and grounds are beautiful, and the location is very convenient. Magena and Eduardo are excellent hosts and very accommodating. Highly recommend if you are looking for a classic experience in Tuscany with easy access to Florence, Siena, and other nearby cities.

Great Place, Great Hosts

Eduardo and Magena are fantastic hosts! Their villa has a kitchen garden which we used for several meals. The produce is incredible. We were gifted eggs from their hens and olive oil from the orchard. Both were delicious. The house is well appointed and the pool and grounds are lovely. We would love to visit again! Grazie mille!

Beautiful villa

We can not fault the villa, it has everything; organic fresh produce, a beautiful and clean pool, ping pong table, plentiful olive oil trees; beautiful views and scenery, cute chickens and bunny rabbits, a clean and cosy villa that is modern inside and more. You will fall in love with Reggello and not want to leave the villa. That is how we felt. Magena and Eduardo were fantastic hosts. The communication was so efficient and if we needed anything at all, they would always be there to help within minutes. We are a family of 6 and we had the best time in Reggello. Not only was there enough fresh product within the main villa and its land, but there were also many restaurants a short walk away and our favourite ice cream shop of them all was Gelateria Il Muretto! Transportation wise, it was very easy to get into Florence city centre if you take the bus. It leaves from Reggello early in the morning and takes around an hour and forty minutes, then you can take it back again in the evening. The tickets are only 6 euros. During our stay at the Villa, Magena was very kind and gave us a ride to the designer shopping outlet mall, as well as the bus station (on the days we wanted to visit Florence) and local supermarket whenever we needed, which we loved - she was extremely helpful. Magena’s pear marmalade was delicious, she makes this for all her guests. There is so much good food and wine available in Reggello and many independent bakeries and cafes in town which do delicious food & drink. Eduardo brought us some truffle cheese, red wine and salami to try which was so tasty. We felt like they were family as they treated us well, were so kind and generous. One suggestion for the villa would be to add a jacuzzi!! :P Overall, a 10/10 stay. Thank you Magena and Eduardo for making our stay as smooth sailing, relaxing and enjoyable as it could have been. We want to come back again very soon, we miss you already. Grazie per essere così incredibile.

Reggello Holiday

We highly recommend this villa, it's location, the facilities and privacy. From the outset Eduardo and Magena was very responsive with any requests we had, assisted with local restaurant bookings, as well as assisting with a wine and olive oil tasting. We loved the local wildlife that's on the property, as well the rabbits that were running around throughout the day. We would recommend you do take some mosquito spray/ointment as they ate us alive. Lol To see an 84 year old owner still working so hard and taking pride in his vegetable gardens was amazing. We got to taste some of the local produce that are growing on the property and you just can't compare it to anything you find in a supermarket. Overall a great holiday with easy access to so many towns within an hours drive.

Brilliant villa

The villa is excellent and with a great sized pool. We did not rent a car so Magena kindly offered to picked us up from the station and took us back the following week she also took us food shopping. From book to the end of the stay they were alway easy to communicate with. When we arrived there was fresh produce and cold drinks ready which was much appreciated. Reggello is a lovely little town which is walkable (20 mins) and has some excellent places to eat at. As a family of 4 the house was very spacious and comfortable. Thank you Magena and Eduardo (and Lola the dog)

Amazing place for a Tuscan getaway

We travelled to Tuscany as a group of six (3 couples), and this place was perfect. At check-in, Eduardo and Magena were very welcoming, showing us round the property (including the gardens) and explaining which of the fresh fruit and veg we could harvest. The house itself was extremely well equipped inside, but it was the outside space that really made the stay outstanding. The pool, veranda and other spaces were superb. Throughout the week, Magena was always responsive, and lovely to talk to. Highly recommend!

True Tuscan Experience

We were greeted by Eduardo at the front gate of our property welcoming us to a grand stay at a beautiful location. The house was everything stated in the description. We were located amongst olive, and apple trees, numerous gardens and complete privacy. The highest compliment we can make is if we go back to this part of the country we will return.

Absolutely perfect

Four of us recently stayed at this wonderful property for a week. Eduardo (the property owner) is a very gracious and generous host, who always replies promptly to any communications. Previous reviews are spot on with regard to the property. Located in an idyllic setting, it is peaceful and relaxing but only a very short drive or twenty minute walk to the beautiful town of Reggello, where there are plenty of restaurants and an amazing gelateria! It would be ideal to have a car but there is a bus that runs regularly to the town of Valdarno where you can catch the train. There is also a very large Coop supermarket located in Valdarno. Alternatively, there is a well stocked Carrefour in Reggello, which is an easy walk from the property. We highly recommend this property and wouldn't hesitate returning. Many thanks to Eduardo, his friends and family for making our stay so enjoyable. We hope to see you all again sometime in the future.

Amazing Find

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Reggello. Edwardo and his father were amazing hosts. Flight delays caused us to arrive at 12:30am and we were lost trying to find the house. Edwardo came to meet us so we could follow him to the home. Certainly appreciated after 30 hours of travel! The house was very clean, quite, and as advertised. We loved getting fresh vegetables from the garden along with cherries and strawberries to supplement food purchased at the local market. We did spend two days relaxing by the pool and two going to a few cities in Tuscany for the sites and wine tasting. I would highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a quiet get away.

Amazing modern villa!

We had a fantastic stay here, the villa is modern and clean and as a family of four we all had plenty of space to ourselves. The pool is fantastic and we really enjoyed having it to ourselves to use at any time day or night. Eduardo was so friendly and really made us feel welcome, and tried his hardest to ensure that we had everything that we needed, even stopping by to bring us some wine! With the fruits and vegetables growing in the garden we were able to really sample the local produce! All in all this is a lovely villa in a great location, perfect for exploring Tuscany, or just relaxing in the tranquility of the garden. We would definitely stay here again.
