$150 deposit terrible, check in hard to find no information about wifi TV. No furniture in room, pipes in wall rattle, noisy heater. Terrible security in parking. Looks like hookers and drug dealers in parking lot. We'll never stay there again.
Could not find. There was no sign. Check in was really awkward and took a long time. Temporary office set up in a bedroom. Staff was not friendly. Noisy room all night. 5am service truck noise woke us up.
It was quick & easy to check in. The clerk that helped us check in was very friendly. The facility was nice with updated rooms. Our room had a broken heater though, the heater didnt work and it was really cold all night. The front desk couldn't offer us any help, they just said maintenance would take a look after we check out. We also asked for an extra blanket and were told that there weren't any available. We only had a one night stay & it was okay for the one night. We typically stay at the Lodge when we come, but this week we decided to try out the other option. It wasn't horrible, but I dont think I would stay again from our experience.
We did arrive an hour early (3pm) and front desk said they would text us when room was ready. That didn't happen. We then went to check in (4:30pm) to get our room card key and no one was in the office. We waited about 10 minutes before someone showed up to complete our check in. Other people were also waiting behind us to check in. Room was nice and clean. Guests were talking loud out in the hall and closing their doors loudly. (That wasn't staff's fault) but it didn't make for a restful sleep after driving 8 hours.
We made our reservations via Hotels.com. However, upon our arrival the receptionist could not find our reservations. Not her fault, but it took over an hour to get checked in. Very disappointed in Hotels.com system that caused the problem. We had dinner and drinks in the Rock and Brews restaurant, and the service was horrible. The food ok. Won't stay here again unless the hotel gets major renovations and the staff at the casino gets more training.
Property was fine. Staff was friendly.
They charged me for the room a second time as they claimed that they had not received the proper documentation for our prepaid reservation. Now we have to deal with this after the fact. Truly a bit of a bother!
