Accommodation In Quy Nhon

Binh Dinh Province is a delightful mix of Vietnam’s past, present and future. It is thought to be where the Cham people first landed in the 7th century and began their kingdom before it became part of Vietnam over 1,000 years later. Today, the province has extraordinary beauty and thriving agriculture, fishing and forestry industries. Our Binh Dinh accommodation will put you in an authentic part of Vietnam still untouched by tourism – and you certainly you won’t forget it in a hurry.

The best place to base yourself is in Quy Nhon, the provincial capital, or in a beach hotel somewhere along the nearby coastline. Bai Xep Beach and its fishing village are about 10km to the south and will have you as far from conventional tourism as you could possibly want. That said, you can still get cold beers on this beautiful beach and the friendly locals will offer cheap-as-chips rural Vietnamese food. There are buses between the village and Quy Nhon – but ‘accidentally’ missing one back isn’t the end of the world!

In Quy Nhon you can enjoy strolls on the boardwalk and a good selection of Vietnamese restaurants with a few western eateries thrown in for when you miss home. Day trips should be taken into other parts of the province to see the scenic hills and to visit at least one set of the towers built by the Cham. The Bahn It Towers are a group of four within 25km of Quy Nhon, and if you’re up for it, the six to seven hour bus trip north to Hoi An will have you feeling like you stepped out of a time machine as you explore a city frozen in time. To the south you’ll find Nha Trang.

So wot are you waiting for? Book one of our Binh Dinh hotels and a flight to Vietnam to follow your own path and enjoy a holiday away from the crowds.
