Accommodation is almost unheard of in the centre of Qionglai. Try to make a booking early, as there is only 1 place to stay within 10 kilometres.
The Lanting Hotel Qionglai is likely to be your only choice if you have your heart set on staying near the central streets.
For some alternatives, checkout the Four Points By Sheraton Chengdu, Pujiang Resort and the Huashuiwan Government Rent Training Center. They are located 25 kilometres and 25 kilometres respectively from the center. Wotif also recommends the Dayi Sea Snail Hotel and the Lanting Hotel. The first is 20 kilometres away from the city, while the other is 18 kilometres away.
Chongzhou is 30 kilometres to the northeast of Qionglai and is where you'll find the Yanhua Reservoir and Wenjing River. Some of our recommended Chongzhou accommodation options include the Xing Xi Hotel and Hanting Hotel. Alternatively, you could stay in Xinjin County, 35 kilometres to the east of Qionglai, where you can choose from the Chengdu Xinjin Lijin Hotel and Jianian CEO Holiday Hotel. Regardless of whether you're passing through or spending a few nights in Xinjin County, don't miss the Chunyang Temple and Bao'en Temple of Meishan.
Chengdu is positioned 65 kilometres away from Qionglai. While you are here, you may wish to check out the Jīnshā Site Museum, the River Viewing Pavilion Park and Du Fu's Cottage. The Sichuan University and Wénshū Temple are also worth checking out. Chengdu offers accommodation options to suit everyone, including The Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu and Shangri-la Hotel Chengdu.
Hotels in Qionglai start at AU$48 per night. Prices and availability subject to change. Additional terms may apply.
