There was no soap in the room! Not by the sink or in the shower. I went to the front desk to ask for some but they had closed 15 minutes earlier at 11:00 pm. This is basically a motel worth less than $100 a night that was charging $599 for this night since it was a Washington State University Family weekend. Shame !

LIMITED ROOMS THAT ALLOW PETS! There were no clear indication on Expedia's page that you were supposed to call in advance to check if the rooms that allow pets are available. Therefore, we drove 5 hours just to find out that our dog was not allowed as the rooms that allow were all taken. It also says 24H Reception Office but it was closed in the morning (10AM!!!). The bedsheets had bunch of bed bugs and the air conditioner/heater is loud as hell! I will never ever ever stay at this hotel again.

Patterned sheets were a surprise change from standard whites, and very comfy. That alone raises it above expectations for lowest price available, when all that was needed was a bed. A facility built for a different era. Sad to see a pool filled with concrete, even though I wouldn't have used it. Limited contact with staff, but pleasant check-in.

Checking in you're treated like you already did something wrong. The list of things you have to initial are worded honestly rudely. They have $500 fees if you smoke in your room or have a pet, "As assessed by the cleaning staff". No WiFi. The shower has no meaningful lip at the bottom and the shower rod is an arc that bows outside the pan, so when you take a shower either you have to face the shower head against the wall or you have a flood. Half the bulbs in the room don't work. How hard is it to tell the cleaning staff who regulates extra charges to replace bulbs? For the money, it was not completely awful. There are far, far better places to stay in Pullman.
