I recently stayed at Secrets Bahia Mita hoping for a peaceful, adults-only vacation, but the resort fell short of what was advertised. While the room itself was comfortable, most of the overall experience was disappointing. The main issue is that the property is not truly adults only. There is no real separation between the family side and the adult side, everything from the main dining areas to shared facilities is open to guests of all ages. Families with children were everywhere, including in spaces I expected to be quiet. This completely defeated the purpose of choosing an adults-only resort. I booked this trip specifically to unwind, but instead it felt crowded, noisy, and far from relaxing. The way the resort presents itself is misleading. During the day, the atmosphere around the pools was quite dull. There were very few activities, and the music was low-energy and inconsistent, which didn’t create any kind of enjoyable vibe. The resort as a whole lacked liveliness and personality and even then the events themselves felt geared more toward families than adults. Overall, the resort’s biggest shortcoming is that it does not provide a true adults-only experience. If you’re looking for an adult-focused getaway, this is not the right place. I left feeling disappointed and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone seeking a genuine adults-only vacation.

I booked this resort expecting a true adults-only getaway, but it was nothing like what they advertise. There is no real separation between the adults side and the family side. The main restaurant and common areas were full of kids, which completely ruined the relaxing atmosphere I was hoping for. The food and drinks were disappointing. The buffet was repetitive and often below average. The restaurants were just ok, and the Asian restaurant required reservations even though it was fully booked through the end of December. Drinks tasted extremely weak, and even the soda and juice were watered down from too much ice. The room was good, but the water pressure was low and the mini fridge was tiny and barely stocked with just soda, water, and two beers. There were also no real activities around the pools, just random non-rhythmic music that didn’t help the vibe at all. Overall I feel misled, because this is not a real adults-only resort. I wouldn’t return and do not recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful adults-only experience.

This is a secrets & a Dreams resort together. One side adults only. The other side families. All the restaurants are for both resorts. We thoroughly enjoyed the Hibachi grill, Bordeaux French restaurant & the Italian restaurant. The food was good. They do have a few all adult pools but you can still hear the kids screaming & splashing. If you are looking for an all adult only resort, our opinion would be to find a different resort.

3.5/5 for our stay. We bumped up our stay to a “preferred” and even then our room wouldn’t be cleaned at a timely manner. We’d come in at 6 / 7 to get ready for dinner — mind you we had been outside enjoying the pools/beach/bars all day thinking by the time we were back our room would have been clean but nope. We were there 5 days & on one occasion the bed was done but the towels hadn’t been replaced, they had just taken the wet ones, another issue we had was they didn’t leave toilet paper on that same occasion. They’re not terrible things but it’s such an inconvenience to have to be calling / waiting for them to bring the items.

And with in the last couple years, they've expanded the property built new restaurants to food is impeccable. They have three staff per visitor. It's just one of the most remarkable places in the world and we can't wait to come back next year. We stayed for a total of five days and we plan for saying for 7 to 10 next year!!! heaven is a place on earth at this hotel

Service and staff was excellent, always helpful and greeted us with a smile. Our butler Carlos texted us every day to ask if we needed anything, he was very helpful. A lot of dining options with adults only restaurants. Overall well kept property and saw the most beautiful sunset.

My wife and I have stayed at over 30 all-inclusive resorts over the last 20 years. For the most part, we've had great experiences. So it is with great regret that I give this review. We booked this resort with great hopes. We read the recent good reviews and looked at the pictures. This was a shorter trip, so we were excited about the location and convenience. We arrived, and was very disappointed. This place is in desperate need of repair. 1. The flooring on the pool deck and throughout the resort is riddled with cracks everyone. Don't get fooled by the pictures. 2. While we were waiting on our room, I decided to take a swim. I noticed that there were chunks of concrete missing from various spots along the pools edge. I also noticed the the gutters were pack with trash. The pool deck itself is not concrete but cobblestone. So there is a lot of dirt and grime that gathers. 3. The area around the poolside bar was packed with kids and it was filthy. We later found out that this place offers day passes which would explain why there were a lot of kids. 4. While in the pool, I noticed the roof of the poolside bar and even the resort itself was missing tiles everywhere. It was very noticeable because it was a clay/adobe stye Spanish roof. 5. We decided to move to the lobby to grab a drink, and while sitting down we noticed that the TV was very small (maybe a 32 inch). I was turned on last week's football game, and the picture was very grainy and snowy. 6. Lastly, we went ou
