I’d like to bring to your attention an incident I observed at the breakfast station in the terminal on the 14th morning While ordering an omelet, I noticed that the cook preparing food was using her bare hands to pick up ingredients and mix them with the eggs.
When I politely asked why gloves weren’t being used, the cook responded simply, “I don’t use.” I expressed my concern that this practice is unhygienic and could lead to contamination, especially when handling ready-to-eat items like eggs and vegetables.
I did not eat what was prepared, the sausages prepared were also over cooked and hard to chew. I left what I took.
I addressed this matter to the restaurant manager who didn't seem to take the matter seriously and wasnt really apologetic about the whole thing.
I did not dispute paying for the full breakfast, basically all I had was a glass of juice.
Food safety is important not just for health, but also for customer trust. I hope this issue can be addressed with the staff to ensure proper sanitary practices are followed, including the use of gloves or utensils when handling food directly.
I hope in future things will change in the breakfast area.
