Enjoyed our stay. The glass wall into the bathroom was a bit disconcerting at first as one could see into the shower/bathroom. The coffee maker in room 223 did not work. The room was larger enough for us to visit with others. The parking in the parkade across the street was a bit of inconvenience at first as did not know to keep key to enter when checking out.

We weren’t as impressed with the neighbourhood. Unusual and a bit inconvenient there is no onsite parking. You had to go around corner to a parkade. Our room needed some repairs. The key lock in hallway was falling off the door, our one desk chair was broken and you couldn't sit on it, the sheer curtains were shredded at the bottom where they have caught on the window latch. The bathroom was really nice except the shower door has slipped and the glass was almost shattered every time we opened or closed it. Hotel was very nice and seems well maintained, and will be better when all the rooms are finished being reno.

The good; Room was beautiful, shower was lovely, good amenities in the room. I prefer a softer bed, and I found the bed to be extremely comfortable. My son enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Starbucks is in the same building. Several very good restaurants located directly across the street including a brewery. There is a somewhat secure parkade across the street for hotel guests. The bad; Unfortunately did not feel entirely safe on the street at night. Even when we arrived to the hotel to check in, we had to sit in the car and wait for the very agitated, clearly intoxicated gentleman to finish his rant and move along, before we felt safe to get out of the car. There seems to be a very large homeless population living only a few blocks away. Which is often the case in many large cities. This of course is of no fault of the hotel, just something that you will likely encounter while staying here. Overall the hotel is beautiful, just unfortunately not in the best area of town. That being said, If you needed to stay downtown Prince George, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel. A little hard to find and not in the nicest neighborhood. Loved the room. Cool feature with the glass window between the shower/bathroom and the bedroom. The glass becomes smokey when the bathroom door is closed. The big downfall was the hotel's parking. You have to park on the top floor of the parkade across the street. Not convenient.

The hotel was ok. Once we checked in and we're heading out for dinner I noticed my bill was much larger then expected when I asked about this at the front desk and was told it was a security deposit and would be refunded when we checked. We were not informed of this at check-in. What button to press on the elevator was not clear so we had to ask which was frustrating.

Older part of town, lots of homeless. Older hotel, looks okay on inside. But lacking a few things for what you pay. Lock on room door didn’t work, got staff to look at it. They told us you have lift up on the door to make it work. Old wore out couch, chair, looked dirty. Staff friendly when checking in for keys (checked in online) but slow to get keys. Nothing ready at check in for us like which rooms we would be put in. So stood waiting for them to leave. When leaving no thanks for staying no nothing. Unfriendly. Okay for a one night stay as we did but not great.
