This is the cutest little motel ever! Our room was extremely clean and was absolutely perfect! The staff are incredibly kind and helpful when we checked in, we were also greeted by super cute dogs and a cat. The bed and pillows were comfy, a/c worked perfectly so our night could not have been better here. We highly recommend Northern Family Motel and we look forward to staying here again!

Nice, affordable place to stay in Potsdam. Rooms were clean and comfortable. AC worked great (the temperature was in the 90s, so this was an important feature). Good water pressure and hot water was HOT! No frills, just nice people running a family, and pocketbook, friendly motel.

Very clean Motel close to center of Potsdam. Staff was very helpful. The only improvement I could suggest is to have curtains in the bedroom. Light was pretty bright. I will definitely be back Thank you

Price was reasonable. Check in\out was expedite. Location was secluded within acceptable distance for bicycle commutes or an easy car drive. I was unclear on the procedure for a misplaced room key and road/traffic conditions were problematic for cycling within 2 miles from town
