My wife and I stayed at the Pur Oporto hotel in Porto for a week. Overall, it was good, but a few things could be better.
The hotel is in a good spot, close to Santa Caterina and other parts of Porto. It made it easy to explore the city.
The hotel staff is nice and ready to help all the time.
Our room was big and had everything we needed. There were lots of TV channels to choose from.
The restaurant and bar had great food and drinks at good prices.
The hotel's internet was fast and didn't give us any problems.
Even though there weren't kettles in the rooms, the staff made us tea when we asked.
The showers didn't have strong water pressure, and sometimes the hot water didn't work well.
We almost missed our welcome drink because we arrived at 2 am. We found out later that new guests were supposed to get it, and the staff gave it to us when we asked.
There was a strange smell in some parts of the hotel that smelled like sewage. It didn't bother us too much, but it was a bit strange.
In conclusion, our stay at the Pur Oporto hotel was mostly good. The great location, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and tasty food left a good impression. Fixing the shower and hot water issues, making sure everyone gets their welcome drink, and dealing with t
