Apartment located in the beach front, in a beautiful building, facing the Atlantic Ocean, in Vila Nova de Gaia - Porto - mouth of the river Douro, in Northern Portugal. Situated in the first line of sea, Lavadores Beach and Salgueiros Beach, is the ideal place for a holiday or short stay and also a beautiful place to live.

Excellent sea views from the living room and the kitchen. A spacious and secluded balcony over the beach, with magnificent solar exposure, where you can sunbathe and admire the magnificent sunsets every day.

This 2 bedroom apartment sleeps 4 people and is recently refurbished and furnished. Has a spacious living room and kitchen. The living room with an excellent view and an exceptional sun light is equipped with comfortable and modern sofas, has a 50 inch LCD TV, cable TV with 150 channels and free wireless Internet access (WIFI) at 50 Mb/s. The spacious kitchen is equipped with all necessary equipment and kitchen utensils.

The 2 rooms, one is a suite, are equipped with king size beds and super comfortable pocket spring mattresses with a layer of premium memory foam to allow a deep rest and relaxing. Has 2 full bathrooms.

Stunning Views

It’s a great apartment to sit on the balcony, watch the waves and people watch. Good location, Supermarket straight down the beach front, good choice of restaurants all within walking distance. Marcus the host is super attentive and sorts out anything straight away. Hopefully we will be back.

This was a fantastic find. A beautiful boardwalk along the ocean that stretched for miles and a clean, comfortable well equipped apartment. About half an hour into Porto most days.

Perfect Holiday Apartment

As soon as you step into this condo the beautiful water views awaits you. This condo is very well appointed and just outside of Porto. Took an Uber several times into Porto. 2 bedrooms and bathrooms make this place perfect for 2 couples. Marco was very helpful and ready to answer any questions.

Fabulous apartment by the sea

We loved this apartment from the moment we arrived. Marcos the host is extremely helpful and friendly and answeredall our questions. It really has everything, very comfortable beds, excellent luxury bathrooms and well equipped kitchen. The spacious balcony has a wonderful view over the ever changing ocean. If you can drag yourself away there's a great bakery 5 mins walk away and 10 mins takes you to the supermarket. There are several beachside restaurants nearby, Aqua was our favourite. 10 mins walk the other direction takes you to the bus stop, the 902 service runs every 30 min into Porto for trips further afield. A highlight for us however was the boardwalk which meanders along the edge of the beach and through the sand dunes for a couple of km, there's a nice wee cafe bar at the finish too. We can't wait to return!

Great location and great host!

We loved our stay at this property, and really enjoyed meeting our host, Marcos. The view was spectacular from the apartment, and the place was impeccably clean! We had everything we needed at the property, and could walk to many restaurants and the grocery store. We will stay there again in the future!

The manager, Marcos, was available almost immediately. We had one issue, and it was resolved within minutes. Many nearby restaurants (walking distance) even an piano bar next door. It was easily accessible to Porto and Gaia by UBER. Internet was super fast.

Our stay

This was a beautiful apartment. It was well-equipped with everything that you would need. The location just across from the beach was fantastic.The sunsets from the balcony were breath-taking. There were fantastic walks along the sea front. The apartment is close to Porto and is a short hop by Taxi from the centre of Porto. Therefore, there was no need for a car. We so enjoyed our stay, we will happily return next year.

Beautiful place!

This is a wonderful, spacious place with amazing views of the ocean and beach. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen is nicely stocked. There are many restaurants near-by with beautiful ocean views. I recommend the italian restaurant next to the pharmacy (can't remember the name, but it is only 1/2 block away). I would highly recommend this place and would not hesitate to stay here again. Marcos was super helpful with recommendations and answered all of our questions.

Modern, comfortable, clean

We stayed only 4 nights at the apartment and wished it was more. The apartment is very big, beds are comfortable, kitchen and bathrooms sparkling clean, and the view to dye for. It is also easy accessible by car and there is enough parking in front of the building in case you don't use the underground garage. The owner is very easy to communicate with and very nice in person. To visit Porto, we drove for 10 min. on Vila Nova de Gaya side of the river to Ponte da Arrabida, parked for free under the bridge and walked the rest of the way by the Riverside, admiring the downtown area across the river. The Douro Valley trip recommended by Mr.Loureiro was amazing. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Very nice apartment

Very nice and secured apartment. Really enjoyed the ocean view from the deck. We did borrow the 2 bikes and went for a ride along the shore. Lots a restaurants within walking and a grocery store down the road. There is no conditioning but you can get a flow of air circulating with the windows but the roosters crowing was problematic at night if you keep windows open.

Wonderful place to stay and a great view of the ocean

We stayed in this apartment in Vila Nova de Gaia for 3 months, and found it very enjoyable and especially relaxing. We spent countless hours on the balcony, the enclosed balcony, or the living room just staring at the ocean. The building is very well constructed and quiet. This place on the top (3rd) floor is very spacious, 2 king bedrooms with comfortable memory-foam mattress, 2 baths (one in-suite), a large well equipped kitchen, large dining/living room with glass doors to the balcony. There is a bus stop one block away, a grocery store about 5-6 blocks away, and many restaurants and bars for the beach goers. The bus runs about every 15 minutes and goes past many shopping areas, the Devesas train station, and into Porto itself. Vila Nova de Gaia is not touristy...it is more of a seaside playground for the locals. We would definitely return.

Superb apartment in a beautiful area

We had an amazing stay here, the apartment is spacious, nicely furnished and well equipped. The kitchen has all the appliances you need, the beds are comfy and the bathrooms are nice and clean (like the whole place). The best thing though is the view. Breathtaking, with floor-to-ceiling windows you can enjoy it in the living room and on the large balcony it is even better! The only dowside was that the garage was extremely hard to access with our rather large rental car if other residents parked their cars there as well. You probably won't have this problem with a small car. Marcos is a great host, flexible and ready to help, also provided us with some infos of the area and Porto. We'd definitely go again and I couldn't recommend the apartment more!
