If you intend to spend some time in Pinghu, a little pre-planning is a good idea, because you won't find a lot of hotel choices near the town centre.

Pinghu isn't known as the hotel capital of Jiaxing. It is, however, home to the Pinghu Sun Lake Hotel, which is just 3-kilometre from the centre of town.

20 kilometres from the main part of Pinghu is the Motel168 Jiashan Train Station Jiefang West Road Inn. Alternatively, the World Expo Hotel Zhejiang can be found 17 kilometres away. Two other places to stay worth checking out include the Xitang One Thousand and One Nights Inn and the Xitang Love Password Boutique Hotel.

After spending time in Pinghu, take a little time to visit more of the Zhejiang area. Enjoy Zhejiang's rivers, lakes and rolling hills. Alternatively, go to some of the area's old towns and temples. More active types can try their hand at hiking, cycling and picnicking in this part of China.

The closest hotels in Jiaxing include Jiashan and Jiaxing City Centre. Jiashan is 19 kilometres to the northwest of Pinghu, while Jiaxing City Centre is 25 kilometres to the west of Pinghu.
