Bradley campus buildings are just minutes away by foot. Civic Center and Caterpillar downtown offices are a 7 minutes drive. OSF and Methodist hospitals nearby. Plenty of unique restaurants around. One of my favorite places to eat is Thanh Linh (pronounced Tah-n Lin), located 3 minutes away. They serve up great Vietnamese and Chinese food. I always get #45 with beef. One World is a Peoria favorite. They make great cuisine from all over the globe, ranging from Mediterranean to Mexican. You can always count of them to make a great batch of fries. Cruisen's on Farmington Road is also a fantastic place to hang if you're looking for delicious fried foods to pair with a cold glass of suds while watching the game. If you're looking for award winning espresso, 3030 Coffee is a few minutes drive. They make a great Miel Latte. If you prefer to cook your own meals, you can pick up groceries nearby at Haddad's Grocery store a few blocks away, 2407 W Rohmann Ave.

So, there are four of us that meet every spring for a weekend to celebrate a birthday. We need a place to put our head, comfortable, clean, nothing fancy. This fits the bill. Nice house

Host was fantastic and very easy to work with. Worled great for our family for the 3 nights we were there and the price was very reasonable. Unfortunately the pictures in the app are very doctored up and when we got there did not look like the pictures presented. One night we went to bed and the heat in the house quit working and woke up very cold inside, comtacted the host immediately around 8am and left for a family funeral and when we got back around 2pm had to.send another message Finally a maintenance worker showed up and had to replace the thermostat and finally had heat about 4 and worked the rest of the time we were there.Also.the pullout sofa bed was unsleepable and son had to sleep.on the normal.couch. Pads and springs very old and uncomfortable. Also finding bedding for ot was very non existent and even had to look for bathroom towels, i stead of beimg in the bathrooms.Again want to.thank the host although for being very accommodating with us coming in so late the first night after a 24 hours drive from Utah.

This was in a great place and the owner communicated a lot; however the pictures are very curated and do not accurately reflect the older state of the home. We could not use the kitchen at all and there was lots of muck on the carpets and walls. It was fine for the weekend, but I wish I had a better idea of the condition of the house.

The house was okay. These pictures are old. The furnishings are not the same. The chairs are metal chairs not wooden. The pull out bed was broken and would not open. The washer and dryer worked great. The amenities were adequate. Communication was good. The game room was not air-conditioned and could not be used because it was so hot. Would have been fun to be able to use the foosball. The video game must have been broken. It was torn apart and stuck in a closet. Sad. There was no access to the garage where the grill was so we could not grill out. It was a fight upstairs to try and keep the The curtain off of the air conditioner upstairs in the master bedroom. There was about a 12-in gap between the air conditioner and the folded up curtain that was tucked into the window split very Mickey Mouse. The location of the house suited our needs very well, but the neighborhood outside of our street was shady. I'm not trying to complain. I'm just stating facts. The host stated they try to provide a five-star experience and it definitely was not five star.

Road Trip
My husband, myself, son, daughter, son-in-law and 11 month old grandson stayed one night. We enjoyed a minor league baseball game, it was super hot so we got a suite at the game...best decision! Our son is a runner so enjoyed a run in the am around the neighborhood and in fact ran into a group of guys running and they asked him to join them...my husband and I enjoyed a nice walk in the am. Nice neighborhood. The home was clean, there was mostly hardwood floors but in the carpeted areas there were stains on the carpets.

Terrible
It was short, lived as my son became ill. Inside of the property, I requested a refund because of the cleanliness and code violations that we saw inside. I had to change most of the light bulbs myself because they didn't work. The there was trash left in places. There's an unfinished room that the door was just left open to in the attic. It was just not a good experience.I really want a refund thank

Pluses and Minuses for Home of the Braves
Pluses – Beds were very comfortable, good space to spread out, good dining room table for gaming and eating, convenient location in Peoria, upstairs bathroom very nicely remodeled.Minuses – Felt more like college housing than the adult VRBO I expected for this price point. Some of the nicer furniture in the photos had been swapped out (dining room chairs, kitchen stools had been replaced with metal options, lighting was missing from first floor master). Rugs, insides of kitchen cabinets needed to be cleaned. The dining room had cobwebs on a couple of walls. None of the cons were deal breakers and certainly nothing that I would contact the owner/manager to address during the middle of our stay.

What a total scam
Questions submitted to the so-called manager/host were NEVER answered except the last one which was answered by a bot with a nonsensical non-response.I needed a rain date, but never got a response. isn't it interesting how you have to provide a great deal of personal information, but "Michael" didn't even bother to disclose his last name - in addition to never responding to specific questions. What a complete asshole.Even though i was unable to stay, and had to throw away several hundred dollars in the process, i have learned that vrbo is a vast criminal conspiracy from which i will always run away as fast as i can.

Perfect for a quick stay
My family of 6 stayed for a few nights while we had a sporting event held at the Civic Center. Loved that it was only a 5m drive! Beds were super comfortable and parking was easy. My kids absolutely loved the “game” room upstairs too!

It was clean. We were looking forward to the game room, however the arcade game wasn't working. There were some board games, but we opted to buy a deck of cards and dice and use dining room table. Overall it was a great place to rest. Host Matthew was very easy to get a hold off. I would recommend. Neighborhood was quiet.

Great property manager
.Matthew, the property manager was very friendly and was great at solving out TV problems. But if you're looking for luxury accomodations, keep looking. Pictures can be deceiving. This house reminds me of off campus student housing that didn't get rented.Could really use an update.
