We picked this house because it stated “private pool”… it is not private AT ALL! The advertisement leads you to believe that you are renting this house but in reality you are only renting a portion of this house. We voiced our concern when we checked in, as the only thing seperating the 2 portions of this house is a single door without a deadbolt. We were told not to worry because no one was renting the other portion. Well after being there a couple days, a man from this poorly ran company walks right in and up the stairs… said he didn’t think anyone was renting this place. Through this confusing interaction- we find out there were people checking in to the lower level that day - the man working for the company didn’t realize it was set up as a so called “duplex” and was in the wrong portion. He even said he didn’t see “how they were getting away with renting it like this to two families.” I reached out to management again- and manager Baily said that yes it was rented but not to worry- the 7 people renting would be “at soccer” and we would “hardly see them.” We later met the renters (who tried coming in our front door as they also had no idea this was a “duplex.). They were also extremely upset by this deceptive listing, and only had soccer that weekend. All The bikes either had flat tires or broken chains. Total scam and the other renters felt the same way. We were told we had 24 hrs to cancel after booking so were not entitled to a refund. We left early anyway
