Sitting a few feet from Maple Lake, this former military hut has been transformed into a cozy, quirky, peaceful home, with breathtaking views of the lake and wildlife. Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck entertained by visiting Geese, Swans, Ducks and Blue Herons. In summer there is fishing, swimming, kayaking and in winter ice skating, skiing, tubing, ice-fishing and snowmobiling. Stayed a couple nights, all good. Bed area is a little tight but manageable. Beautiful views, nice little porch. Had a Quonset on the farm growing up,nice to see one repurposed.

Adorable 😍
The property was beautiful with a wonderful view of the lake! The house was beautiful and the perfect size for a couple. The hosts had plenty of supplies in the bathroom in case you forget anything. We enjoyed having a full kitchen, and if we wanted to eat out, we were very close town as well. We’re hoping to come back soon!

Cozy Getaway
This is our second stay at this cottage and we will keep coming back! Both times have been in the colder months and we love being able to relax and watch TV and have a amazing view at the same time. The ducks, geese, and swans are entertaining to watch. The blankets to snuggle up with on the couch are a nice touch. One of these days we will come in the summer and take advantage of the fire pit and spend some time outside. We love your place!

Lovely place to stay! The hosts were welcoming and helpful. I had thought the location would be more remote, but that was an incorrect assumption on my part. Even though it’s pretty close to other houses and a busy road, my stay was still quiet and peaceful.

The Hut Is Perfect
We had a great stay. The owners were very welcoming and accommodating. They provide local food suggestions. Views are amazing. Cute little place that was quiet and peaceful. Will definitely be back next spring! 5* all the way!

We loved being off Maple Lake it was so beautiful at night and in the morning!! Ducks swimming and walking up the shore was delightful 😊 The hut was adorable and definitely cozy ☺️ Recommend this place to everyone!!

I had the pleasure spending two nights with my favorite person in the world at the Cozy Quonset Hut. It was the perfect setting providing a peaceful and Serene get away experience. The only thing that could have been better is if we had two more nights. Five stars in every category. We will definitely consider a return trip. Thank you Donna and David for being great host!

A great home away from home!
This was our second stay and once again we found the property very clean, cozy and comfortable. It had all the comforts of home. The owners are great and provide little extras throughout. We really enjoyed the beauty and peacefulness of Maple Lake. We plan to return!
