This apartment was right in the middle of St Germain. The entire space was bright and airy with light coming in through multiple windows as well as the glass door to the rooftop deck streaming light down the stairs. The apartment is well laid out with many nooks for storage and hanging options. The bathroom is well lit with plenty of storage and a great shower. The appliances worked well and the bed was comfortable. The best part about our experience was the location. There are easily 10-15 cafes and restaurants nearby, and then some of the best are to be found simply by strolling the charming streets in any direction. For those coming from the US, there is a French cafe you can also find in the states nearby.There is a great mix of locals and tourists, and even late at night we always felt safe. The shopping was great, from the markets on the same block for water or food, to galleries and every sort of clothing store, haute-couture to casual, within minutes. There is an Apple Store 5 minutes walk, and everything else you might want or need. The Seine is less than 10 minutes away. As for transportation, there are multiple Metro stations depending on where you might want to go, and the St. Michel RER train station to Versailles is 7 minutes away. Every Uber we requested came in a few minutes, so walking, Metro, train, and Uber were all super easy. All-in-all, we felt like we experienced every aspect of a true Paris visit, with minimal stress and maximum enjoyment.
