Comfortable bed, I slept very well. Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is small as it’s in an old merchant’s building so the rooms are cosy and characterful but modern. Directly opposite Serge Gainsbourg’s old home where you can go on the guided installation tour devised by Charlotte (if that’s your thing).

Clean hotel. Be sure you like to climb stairs, and AC/Heat and fan functions are all remote controlled so if you like to have the fan running at night you will need to ask. Over all great hotel.

Sweet little gem of a hotel

Lovely little hotel on a quiet street in a fantastic neighborhood in Paris. The rooms are small, as is typical of any great city - but who wants to spend time in your room when Paris awaits? Loved the little lounge area that felt like being in someone (very chic) home.

A great location that we didn't realize was as fantastic as it turned out to be. Walking distance from some of the most iconic sites and the best shopping in Paris, cool Parisian vibe all around, and great support team at the hotel. Will come back again.

The room I had was an upgraded room but the floor was uneven so it was weird to walk around the room. The air conditioner was not very cool. The toilet seat had shocking stains and needed to be replaced. The carpet in the room looked dirty. The bed was comfortable. The mini fridge didn’t work at all so the drinks were warm. There was no quality control in the room condition. Also, they have actual keys to the room and they put this 7 pound keychain on them and tell you that you can’t leave with the key. It has to be turned in at the front desk each time you leave the hotel. This is weird. The breakfast buffet is ok if you are not actually paying money for it. The reviews previously left are glowing but I don’t think they share the same standards.

We had a wonderful 4 day stay in Paris at Hotel Verneuil. The room was small, (which the hotel made sure we knew about ahead of time), but it was comfortable and well-appointed. The minibar snacks and drinks are included which was a nice touch! The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect-walkable to all the main tourist sites yet quiet and full of Parisian charm.
