The room was so small we didn’t have room for our luggage. I’ve stayed in countless hotels, but never one this small. The cost was too high for such a small room. It was a little over 1400.00 for three nights. Leon the desk clerk was absolutely the best thing in our stay! He was very acknowledged and went to the extreme in helping us

Eight steps (stairs) to our room and a very small bathroom. Allow me to elaborate. Eight stairs doesn’t seem like much, but when each of your luggage weighs 25 kgs, (55 lbs), it will stand out and you will remember them. Fortunately there are only 4 rooms at the hotel on the half floor, so you may not have this issue. If you are over 200 lbs, you will also remember the bathroom. Smaller than my half-bath in the US, the tub was narrow as well. I expected more from my hotel at 500/night. Something else to keep in mind is that the hotel is across the street from two popular bars, so it can be noisy at night. Fortunately for us it came un handy for a quick drink since the hotel does not have a bar. We were disappointed with the freeze dried coffee inside the room. Very subpar for Paris. You will need to heat your own water with a kettle they provide you on limited counter space. On a positive note, this hotel is centrally located and we wanted a queen/king sized bed and it was comfortable. Plus there was a nice boulanger around the corner that has excellent pastries and real coffee. This checked all the boxes for me when I booked this place. I just didn’t expect a homeless man below our window. So to sum it all up, I personally would not recommend this hotel. 2.5 stars

The Britannique was lovely and quaint and every member of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a bit small (to be expected in Paris) but clean. The only negative feedback was not necessarily tied directly to the hotel but pertained to the ever-present homeless population around and sleeping in front of the hotel.

Very convenient area in Paris. A quaint hotel in the heart of Paris. Great for night walks along the river, visiting the Louvre, and close to tons of shops and restaurants. Room was small, but cozy.

Nice, small hotel, in a great location … could walk to the Louvre, Notre Dame, L’Ile St. Louis, Left Bank sights , Musée d’ Orsay, etc. Very quiet room. Bathroom had something to be desired … sloped ceiling in my particular bathroom on the 6 th floor… not great for a tall person like me. Bathtub had no safety bar whatsoever , and as typical in France, no glass enclosure to keep the shower water from spraying all over the floor. My traveling friend was not appreciative of the homeless man that slept right outside the hotel lounge window.

Hotel Britannique was the perfect choice for our Paris getaway. The location is unbeatable—just steps from the Seine, Notre-Dame, and countless cafés and shops. Despite being in the center of it all, the hotel felt like a peaceful retreat. Our room was cozy yet elegant, with classic Parisian charm and thoughtful touches that made our stay feel special. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering great recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the daily breakfast, which featured fresh pastries, fruit, and great coffee. This hotel truly captures the romantic spirit of Paris. We can’t wait to return!

I’ve had a great time at this charming boutique hotel. The only negative comment I have is that the room was extremely small I’ve also been placed on the 6th floor which is the last floor of the hotel/roof lol so slanted wall on one side of the room I had to duck in the bathroom and in the room itself other than that my stay was pleasant.
