2/10 Terrible

I’d give this place zero stars if I could. We were hit with a strong musty smell immediately, and upstairs the carpet literally crunched under our feet. The bathtub drain was covered in what looked like mold and rust, the shower splash guards fell off when touched, and a towel rack fell off the wall and nearly hit my daughter. The deeper we looked, the worse it got: stains everywhere, ripped couches, scuffed walls and cabinets, and cracked toilet handles (one wrapped in masking tape instead of being replaced). It feels like basic maintenance just doesn’t happen here.Amenities were equally disappointing. None of the TV remotes worked (only Netflix worked during March Madness), and despite marketing itself as family-friendly, there were no games, beach gear, or activities. We were told there was no Pack-N-Play, only to find one there after paying 75 to fly with ours. There was also no carbon monoxide detector. The worst issue was the heater. A Dec 2025 review said it didn’t work, and it still doesn’t. Our kids woke up freezing the first night (57 inside set to 77). We were told it was fixed — it wasn’t. Later it was locked at 95, making the place smell like rotten eggs and turning bedrooms into saunas. We had to choose between freezing or overheating. This is an expensive property pretending to be charming and family-friendly. It isn’t. Only upside is beach proximity (across a busy highway).Stay somewhere else.
